The DOW chieftan in Colorado Springs who called the (no pun intended) shots on putting the SIX bears down needs to be brought not just before a review board, but, as well, the courts.
Not an apologist for wildlife that truly are causing problem and have been previously tagged, given a second and possible third or greater chance.......... No, no apologist rant here.
But the tragic fact that this DOW head honcho went outside DOW policy and dictated that the bears be put down as so-called "first offenders" is in fact a violation of DOW policy. And he knew it. It should also be stated in equal breath that the subordinate or subordinates who blindly followed the dictatorial and euthianized the bears also need to be before a review board, at a minimum. As to the residents who notoriously placed food out on their property so as to prompt a "Kodak Moment", they, too, need to stand before a judge.

This entire matter is so Colorado. I do not know of any other state DOW who are so completely failed an inherently cold blooded in their general day-to-day affairs.

Classic Colorado. What an excrement repository.

It is a shame that we have to kill the bears, but I have to remind you if it was not for humans being careless with there trash, also feeding them so they can take pictures the bears would still be alive. Relocating has not always been sucessful.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Scorpio

Today's Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon stirs up powerful emotions during the next two weeks (as it has done since the Gemini Solar Eclipse last month), and it may not be a very pleasant experience. Are you feeling rather compulsive and obsessive? Financial issues could be a problem,, especially if they appear to threaten your sense of emotional security. Don't let jealousy or envy make you do things that will set other people against you.
