This is a shame. I don't see why they couldn't relocate the bears to an isolated area of Colorado. Hell, I'd pay for the gas to drive them. So sad!

This is so very sad, makes me sick, we moved into their area. I live in an area of Colorado Springs frequented by bears. We lock our doors to the outside, don't leave windows open, close garage doors, keep trash inside, make good choices. The death of these creatures is totally the flat of humans, doesn't even sound like they were threatening. So very sad.

That breaks my heart, why can't they just relocate?

And people - seal your homes if you live in the mountains or foothills - sheesh! It's not the bear that's the dummy, we shouldn't shoot THEM...

Again people make sure your houses are locked and secured if you live in a area with wild life. They were there long befor you. They need food to. you people build houses in the wild and then cry when you dont lock up your house and bears get in. 3 bears lost there life because of your stupidity. Its very sad.

If this the regular practice of the DOW then we will be having a bear shortage soon.

They shouldn't have killed the bears & cuBs is a true statement. Life will go on for the bears in eternity but the DOW will have to live with this pain forever.

Thats just makes me sick.youd think they could have at least found a zoo to take the cubs.Every year it seems they kill more and more.We have invaded thier space they should not be punished for that. It's a risk you take when you want to live that close to nature.

DOW is evil!! I think the idiots that made that decision should face the same fate as the bears. The owners of the house were probably feeding them....wouldn't surprise me. I hope to see a Facebook page started regarding this story. Maybe we should know the face behind the DOW decision.

When I lived in Evergreen the Bears came around and got into the Garbage.A few steps taken like steel cans inside the Garage.Put the trash out an Hour or two before pick up. Problem solved and the Bears got the message and stopped coming around. Good thing I did not call DOW ,they would have Killed the Bears.I guess thinking was not in the Job Requirement to become a DOW agent. What Fkn Idiots.!!

Now you're in Miami, how do you keep the Cubans out of your trash? Are they smarter than the bears?

Daily Horoscope for February 13

Leo

Something will surface that either allows you to go forward or blocks your progress. Whichever way things go, take action to bring about change. If there's a blockage, then investigate the true cause as to why things are stuck. If things are unfolding well then make sure you act with clarity and determination. You can build something for the future now if you make a decisive move.
