If not, you really don't have the full picture of what is going on within our town, especially not enough of a picture to demean Ms. Foulds. Ms. Foulds can only do as so much as what the council directs her to do when it comes to attracting businesses, and new people, to the town. She is doing a commendable job in a town that very often demeans its own citizenry. I, for one, would never want to work for the town, or be a member of town council, school board, or even sanitation worker, due to the way they are treated by the citizens. These men and women work hard for our town and are treated horrendously for it. Val Foulds a commendable job, very funny. That is like saying Rummage is doing an excellent job. The entire point of this conversation was yes the Council is supposed to tell her what to do. But that does not happen, she runs the show. She is rude, high and mighty, unqualified for her position, and last but not least paid far too much money. Contact your Councilmen at once and tell them do not renew her contract do their jobs do not have Ms Foulds do it for them.

I've played a lot USENET games with that type people. When there is nothing to say attact spelling, grammer or anything that detracts from the failure point. The value of an education is to the educated. Trying to quantify an instatutions value in an individual is a risky process. There are a LOT of PHDs driving taxicabs :) I will grant the point that some people place too much value on certian "paper" :)

If you think WTCSRET looks bad, you better have a paper bag ready to put on Johnny Winters' head whilst he plays Frankenstein or whatever other song he may know. He can also use the bag in lieu of sun screen and glasses to protect his complexion.

I don't know why you are having a problem with the fact that your college is NOT the University of Maryland. Yes, it grants degrees and is part of the university system of the state of Maryland. It is, however, a separate institution like Towson and Salisbury universities. So, to say that it is part of the University of Maryland is an outright lie. It's the same as saying that as a graduate of Towson University you were a graduate of the University of Maryland or of Harvard for that matter. Your "college" is an institution separate and apart from the University of Maryland. So you're degree was "recognized" by Dahlgren, that does not make your University College part of the University of Maryland. Why not, make it easy on yourself and call the University of Maryland admissions office, as I did, and ask whether the University College is a part of the University of Maryland. Thats funny because if I could I would send you a picture of my diploma which say's "Bachelor of Science in Government and Politics awarded by University of Maryland University College. Enough said, but would be happy to show that so called worthless piece of paper to anyone

Don't know what web site you looked at but the one for the University College is UMUC.edu (the acronym means University of Maryland University College) I rest my case.

If you don't listen to or respond to dombo, and don't visit or support his business, he might take his beauty and education to another area where both are appreciated.

I see where Shane Buzby resigned. Mr Mayor and Mrs. Foulds you will not be happy until you run each and every Council member who does not agree with your mean spirited, outrageous and self serving agenda. You should be ashamed of yourselves, Shane is a good man and is good for our town. Unlike you and Val Foulds. The both of you have to go immediately before you completely ruin our town. By the way, I see that Dee Seeber is in Florida, is Mr. Seeber resigning as well? If so then we will have a bunch of idiots running our town my my

The full slate will be up for reelection in November, except possibly Seeber (not sure on that one.) If you don't like who is in there, run yourself, or elect someone you do want in there! Rummage and Lyburn's terms are up, and anyone who is a replacement has to run for their seat. Let's see some of the mouths on here, put their asses in the seats!

They are the intellectual giants of the town, similar to Gunderson, Coombes, etc. If your degree wasn't valuable, your prior employers wouldn't have accepted it as such. Don't even respond to some of the morons on here.

We continue to have members who were appointed vs elected appoint replacement members. How's this for representative government. Perhaps no one will apply. Wouldn't that be interesting. Sarah Pallen started the trend...run for office, then bail out before the end of your term. But she was going for the money she could make/has made out of office.

Petition to change the method, however be warned that elections cost money :) I might have a glimmer of how you got your condos now. I think SP went for her ability to influence as well as the money. She is a thorn in the side of the dems for sure. Additionaly the state of Ak. saved a beaucoup of money from law suits against her. Her Lt. was of the same mindset so it was a no brainer. Win-Win as that 7 guy would say :) She has continued on to "sharpen her saw" another phrase from the 7 guy :)

.....WTCSRET, you're correct...although SP should spare us the lecture about "fullfilling duties" and "leading". She lost that arguement the day she resigned. Elections are expensive, once again I agree. There will come a day when all of us absentee by mail.
