El Dorado officials seek details of double killing

Dana Dodd is a strung out meth feak. Look at her...Why else would someone break into a house, cut the phone wires, do a load of laundry and wait for her victims to come home? This woman deserves no mercy. I hope she suffers when they put the needle in her arm. I hope this strung out bitch burns in hell for taking the lives of two innocent people. I hope Dana gets raped in prison. I hope she comes out of her methed out mind waiting in prison for them to come get her and walk her back to the room they execute her in. I hope she feels everything. I hope it drives her crazy knowing her x will be dating alot of women while she is locked up in prison. I hope her kids quit taking to her. I hope she gets her skanky ass beat in prison by some bull dyke. I hope she suffers like she has made the family of these two innocent women. All because in her paranoid state of meth madness she thought her x was dating. What a freakin psychopath. I hope Dana Dodd feels every bit of pain she has coming to her ugly ass.

well thank you for that. i can't think of a single thing to add that would improve it. beautifully said. i think i have seen her around. i have no use for meth users or murderers and have used her as an example to my child as to what drugs can do and why it is not a good idea to ever try them.

People that knew Trish knew she had a good heart. I was one of those people.

Thank you to those who posted here -- you're right she has caused severe pain to me and my family and I think the prison or death is too good for her. Can anybody tell me how a mother (strung out or not) could do this to 2 people? Especially my mom!! She had no part in any of this at all! I know she died protecting my sister but basically they were just in the way -- collateral damage. Was all of this just because of a penis?

I hear Dana Dodd has Cancer.....I'm doubting she will make it through her trial!!

It's true, Dana Dodd has pancreatic cancer and she probably will not live long enough to go to trial, let alone be sentenced. Which is quite frustrating since that would be the only time that I could address her in person to express how I feel about her actions against my mom and sister. Even though I've heard this is a painful illness, it still sounds too good for her. Hopefully there will be justice done beyond this earth and her damned soul suffers.

All you people who are passing judgement on someone are idiots. If Dana did indeed shoot these people it is a terrible thing of course. Those people did not deserve to die. But someone must have treated her very badly in order for her to do this. She's lived almost 50 years and never shot anyone before. so when you say you hope she is raped and beaten by Bull Dikes in prison(which by the way you seem to know a lot about), or that she dies a painful death from cancer that makes you no better than her!!!!! I dont think you even care about the people who died, I think you are just using this to vent the hatred and anger you have inside at someone because of the shitty, worthless, excuse of a life you are leading. When you say "I dont think you even care about the people who died" you could not be more wrong since this was my mom and sister who were killed. Do us a favor and keep your opionion to yourself on this part of it. Why don't we all agree that she has done a terrible thing and for no reason other than desperation. Her soul is damned and that's what will punish her forever.

Your sister is the one to blame for your mom's death. Why would anyone endanger their mother by taking them to a home, knowing, there were prior tention and conflicts. Yes, this is a terrible tragedy to all the women. But lets not blame it all on Dana! Trish was no "Angel", where do you think Dana got her dope from? This would have never happened, if people weren't fucking around and playing head games with other peoples' mind and stealing other peoples' cars! This is what happens when things spiral out of control in the drug world!

I'm not sure who you are, and fairly sure that you would never admit it, but you obviously know the people involved in this somehow. But, honestly, it really doesn't matter at this point since we can't undo what has been done. All I know is that I miss my mom and sister and nothing will bring them back. So instead of me getting more angry with insignificant B.S.(i.e., jerks like you), I am going to be the better person in this exchange and let it go. My family and I are trying to heal from this tragedy that I would never wish on anybody, even you. We all need to accept the fact that somehow we are all to blame in some way since we live on this earth together.

I'm very sorry if I hurt your feelings, I wasn't meaning to. I'm a very positive person and only trying to let you know it's not only Dana's fault! You were the one that has been negative! I agree that we ALL need to heal from this and stop putting the blame on one person. Two wrongs don't make a right. Nothing happens in this world without it being in God's plan, and when it does it's way beyond our understandings. I am really sorry for your loss. I'm trying to understand all thats happened also, I'm Dana's sister.

I'm a former long time close friend of Dave's. I've seen both the good and bad side of him. I cut the relationship loose years ago because I couldn't stand watching him lose his friends and family to the disease of addiction. I saw him try and fail many times to beat it. What I see at the bottom of this are many good people brought down, and destroyed, by an insidious disease. It is sad, and I cannot comprehend the pain of those left behind; the victim's family, and Dana's. My thoughts and prayers that time brings everyone who was harmed by this event some measure of peace and closure.

I used to be Dana's manager in Tulare. I never saw any examples of ill will toward anybody from her. We [her co-workers] were all shocked when we heard about this incident.

I'm sorry, but we are NOT all to blame as u have stated. Don't dump on other people - maybe you are to blame, but I'm certaily not.

alright Janice, you can stop attacking me through my dead mother and sister. You may think that trashing the memories of my murdered family will help you feel better but, it will not. well it has been some time now since my mother has passed away. I went and looked back at all her pictures to remind me of how my mom REALLY WAS....
she was loving and very kind with others. she had the biggest heart ive EVER seen in a person. she was always laughing and saying jokes. now, yes, she did have a drug problem, but that wasnt the side of her that everyone THINKS they know. i go back on here and read what all these peolpe have to say about my mom, and it sickens me to read what people ACTUALLY think about her. ok, i admite, she did make a mistake, but before you go around talking all this shit...KNOW YOUR FACTS FIRST!! "im sorry, i didnt know u were in the house when all this was going down!" for anybody that reads this that DIDNT KNOW my mom, she's not what the papers and all these sick minded people make her out to be. she was a beautiful, strong hearted woman. i think of her EVERYDAY and while all these people talk shit im forced to live my life without a mom. im 19 years old and she died a few weeks after my 17th birthday. ill never forget you mom i love you so much and no matter what ANYBODY has to say, ill ALWAYS be RIGHT HERE to comfort you.
