Elder Bush Sees 'Ugliness' In Attacks On Obama

Full story: news.yahoo.com

Former President George H.W. Bush doesn't like the "ugliness" President Barack Obama has faced since taking office, but he thinks it's no worse than his son experienced and is not about Obama being black.

I also agree with him - shocking as that is - but I DO think alot of the flak he's catching is because he's black. People seem to have higher expectations of him thatn they would, say, McCain.

I too agree with the elder. That's why I voted for him. He's a moderate.

That said, there is a lot of racism expressed by critics of Obama and the little BUSH was an extremely confused, incompetent, inarticulate, thieving, C student puppet president.

So should we categorize him as a"RINO" and throw him under the bus to join the ranks of Joe the Plumber, Specter, Graham and Snowe?

The Democrats are trying to make it a race issue.
.
As for expectations, who built them up? Who ran on a high expectations platform? Hint: It wasn't John McCain.

Joe Biden Should Resign: It's not what You think...

====== Joe Biden met with CENTCOM chief Gen. David Petraeus this morning to talk about Afghanistan -- an issue that has pushed the vice president into the spotlight, landing him on the cover of the latest Newsweek.

I have an idea for how he can capitalize on all the attention, and do what generations to come will always be grateful for: resign.

The centerpiece of Newsweek's story is how Biden has become the chief White House skeptic on escalating the war in Afghanistan, specifically arguing against Gen. McChrystal's request for 40,000 more troops to pursue a counterinsurgency strategy there.

The piece, by Holly Bailey and Evan Thomas, opens with details of a September 13th national security meeting at the White House.

Biden speaks up:

"Can I just clarify a factual point? How much will we spend this year on Afghanistan?"

Someone provided the figure:$65 billion.

"And how much will we spend on Pakistan?" Another figure was supplied:$2.25 billion.

"Well, by my calculations that's a 30-to-1 ratio in favor of Afghanistan. So I have a question.

Al Qaeda is almost all in Pakistan, and Pakistan has nuclear weapons. And yet for every dollar we're spending in Pakistan, we're spending $30 in Afghanistan.

Does that make strategic sense?" The White House Situation Room fell silent.

Being Greek, I'm partial to Biden's classic use of the Socratic method -- skillfully eliciting facts in a way that lets people connect the dots that show how misguided our involvement in Afghanistan has become.

It's been known for a while that Biden has been on the other side of McChrystal's desire for a big escalation of our forces there -- the New York Times reported last month that he has "deep reservations" about it. So if the president does decide to escalate, Biden, for the good of the country, should escalate his willingness to act on those reservations...

...and Resign

He is correct about the hatred against Obama not being racist. Obama is just "priming the pump" to make if appear so. Racism is the only thing that is keeping his followers following him. He has to keep it out front. He denies it, but listen to his employees.

. We are not racists; we just refuse to allow Exotic people and Jews to rule over us

. We are not racists; we just want to keep managing the World's military power, wealth & goods, because we're the smarter race

. We are not racists; we just want to keep control of Law-Enforcement so we can continue to make & break the rules in order to get away with all sort of $h!t

. We are not racists; we just want to make sure that Exotic people continue to do all the hard jobs while we continue to collect the money

Beck is right: Obama is Exotic, he likes Exotic people, so he may do away with our natural & "fair" advantages over Exotic people & Jews.

We are not racists; we just want to keep a leg up over the competition. Screw Exotic people & Jews!

Poppa Bush is desperate to resurrect the family name after his idiot son tarnished it by devastating this great name through ineptitude and stupidity. But to take a leap from the justified criticism of his retarded son to the racist and unjustified attacks from the unpatriotic right-wing nuts on President Obama is just Bush 41 being an opportunist by trying to equate the two. But I am happy to see that so many patriotic Americans are calling the bigots out on their racist words and actions.

And I see ugliness in the attacks Obama's followers place on anyone disagreeing with the far left policies. How many times do we have to hear that we're racists if we don't like Obama? Or that we're unAmerican if we don't agree? It may not even be Obama, but one of his policies or philosophies. The far left is just as bad or worse than the far right. And IMHO, both can get very ugly.

Right wing Supremacists are not racist.

Right wing Supremacists would say:

I think the Chinese had the view everyone outside of themselves are barbarians.
.
Which white is preventing Detriot from rebuilding itself? Whites stop New Orleans from rebuilding itself? A room full of blacks arguing over how to rebulid New Orleans, not one white face in the room.
.
How many "exotic" people came to America? How many Americans moved to "exotic" lands? Seems the "exotics" like what the white did.
.
I could go on and on, let's just say I think you need new talking points.

If you've been neglecting that special someone in your life over the past few days because you've been so busy with the festivities, try to make up for it today. Maybe you could have some time alone with them, or perhaps you simply need to remind them how much you love them. Don't be afraid to open up your heart to them, and to let them do the same to you.
