Police Shoot, Kill Armed Man

the police should be more professionals in doing there job and makeing sure what class of help his family was asking for. the police acted without knowing in what was happening and they needed to make sure that there was no children in the house because they shot with violence at the victim and in the house there was adults and children. the police should have helped the victim and his family.

How do you know they didn't? If you point a gun at a cop what would you expect them to do?

People do some really stupid things, mixing drugs and alcohol and pointing guns, not a smart mix. This guy may not have deserved to die but he made all the mistakes here, no one else is to blame. When the police arrive they are there to protect as many people as they can, this is the way it is, this guy won't ever know what he did wrong but he was wrong, completely. I feel bad that the family has loss.

ok.. i respect you guys opinions but this guy made have had a gun but he did not fire it at the cops...the cops need to realize what they are doing....this guy may have been drunk but the police just shot at him multiple times like he was going to do something....you dont even know this guy....the police didnt even know the situation...the guys sister called the cops for help not to cause the death of her brother...

It is totally unreasonable to expect cops to hold their fire until fired upon. That is an outragous statement. You say they didn't know the situation??? The situation, according to the article, is that a man leveled a firearm at the cops. He is now dead. That is how it is. God job officers. You did the only sensible thing.

this comment is for the police. the police is job is to help and protect the community. Not they have no right to take away a human beings life. Their are many method for controlling a person without taking away his life. because there is people sufering these tragedy. for example his children and mom. the family called for help not take away his life.that is why you guys recieve classes to become professionals.In these case you guys did not show being professionals.

Before I even read the article I had a feeling that I would see it, and boy was I right. The part where the family questions why the police had to shoot the suspect. The hint that the police are mercyless killers. Every time something like this happens, I see that part in the article and I get mad. What do they expect of the police? Some magical wand that will disarm and subdue a subject while not harming him or putting anybody else in danger. Wishful thinking. Based on the article, the police did the only sensible thing.

If all mankind was positive like you in what you are thinking the world would be much different..and this type of tradegy would not happen..because he is not only the victim but also his family!! now we have to think about his family and kids who no longer have a dad
