Why is the Mayor and his BOW working to disguise the purchase of Super Bowl tickets with tax payer money?
Yes, I have attempted to speak to the Mayor about this. I called and spoke to his secretary last week and still no return phone call.
I learned of this attempted misuse of taxpayers money from the newest member of the City Council.

This seems very plausible given those who are involved. We know the current mayor has a recent history of distorting the facts, we know he has aspirations of only being the mayor for 4 years. We know a current BoW who has football connections.

I learned of this attempted misuse of taxpayers money from the newest member of the City Council. So, the orginal poster whos started this thread signed there name as "Bowlgate" = not their real name. They made an accusation about the Mayor getting taxpayer funded tickets to the big event in Indy. Then, as if to give their story credibility, they wrote "I learned of this attempted misuse of taxpayers money from the newest member of the City Council." People, let's face it'. This thread is another hatefule rumor and more gossip started by an anomonous poster to stir the pot. They first attacked the Mayor, then accused the 'newest member of the City Council" of telling them about the Mayor doing this??? Give me a break. People, you need to realize this entire forum is just the newest version of party line phone systems, where the housewifes would sit at home all day and chatter about this and that, very little of it being true to start with. Rumors, lies, inuendo, gossip aimed to hurt or "dis" one person or group. Done anomonously. This is cheap entertainment for some people and a big power rush for a very few who get on here often, maybe weekly or even daily, to stir the pot. I for one am embarassed for our city and our county because people who don't know use, people who have never visited here continue to get false impressions about us by reading this crap. What some of us know is many of these hatful posts come from a small handfull of individuals, some in Frankfort, some outside of Frankfort but within Clinton County. So as you read 'posts' on this forum, remember who you're getting that line of BS from, someone who, with very few exceptions, has hidden their real name, who is posting on here to get back at someone else. If you actually pay attention to what is being said, shame on you. PS I didn't post my real name because I don't need the hate speech and BS that these anomonous posters whould give me. This is my opinion and that of many others, and you folks can take it as such or , leave it and believe the gossip and hate speech on here.

Misty, If you weren't on here doing the same thing you would not know what was said. Chris is in over his head & you know it..people call the Mayor's Office repeatedly and the secretary doesn't even answer the phone and numerous people complain CHRIS DOES NOT CALL THEM BACK if they do get her and leave a message. I would not plan on Chris going much further with his "political career" with his actions thus far. IF it is true that Mr Mcbarnes was in fact trying to get SB tickets on the city's dime..that is so many charges it isn't even funny...even HIS BUTLER Education can't save his ass from that one! So, if you do not like what people put on here...here is a simple answer!! STOP COMING HERE AND READING IT AND POSTING anonymously as well. Really? The media that didn't report on mcbarbes nor graduating? The media that didn't follow up on his living situation? The same radio media that continues to hide behind an obscure FCC reg to keep people off his property on the east side of town to investigate the drainage tiles that are there?
