Good to see that Carotenuti was charged with a seat belt violation. I'm sure, when the time comes, that will be factored into his sentence.

Is this one of those silly "without suburban drug buyers Hartford would be a paradise" opinions?

I may be wrong, but I assumed that the two bought heroin in Hartford and were heading back home. If I'm right in that assumption then it is likely that they were stopped on Albany Ave (Rte 44) which heads out to Barkhamsted and Winsted.

Since when does getting stopped for not wearing a seatbelt give officers the right to look in your shoe?

We have to end prohibition, things are getting way out of control.

It's not silly... Many of the buyers do come from the suburbs.

Many, but not enough to change the nature of Hartford if they stopped coming. Hartford has to look in the mirror and accept the fact that they have created, and are responsible for, their own problems. Only after they do that will they be able to start to work to ameliorate these problems

Since you decided to only see what you want. Try this: After the person attempted to conceal the heroin packets, they both were searched and the heroin was found in the shoe. Now, I know that you won't like this because it takes away from your cop bashing, but it is what it is!

You are right. A few months ago a woman was arrested while making retail drug deliveries in West Hartford. It was similar to pizza delivery. My only question was, how much do you have to tip the H delivery person?

drug use and drug addiction are very serious problems whether you live in hartford or in a hartford suburb...

but i guess many believe that all the drugs in the state come from hartford...

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
