This is a clear example why our state is out of control with these pet projects.“Vote for me and I’ll give you tax payers money!” Dinapoli and Coumo are helping by going after School districts and Fire departments but they need to look no further than there backyard, ALBANY. When politicians secure money to build a park and name it after the politician that sponsored the bill something’s wrong. Or when a school district in Merrick didn’t pass their budget, Sen. Fuccillo donates state money (tax payers money) to restore their sports program something is really wrong. The nerve of Bruno to have a bus trip showing all the things he did with pork money. Come to Nassau county and I’ll have a buss ride showing all the business & residents that left because they couldn’t take it any more,

is this the same Joe Bruno that promised high speed rail service along the Hudson? A big maybe perhaps? What happened; did he murder somebody? What's the FBI probe all about? Nothing? Will Bruno still use lots of mascara when he does publicity shots?

It used to be that memorials were named for elected officials AFTER they passed away.

Today, elected officials like Joe Bruno and Dean Skelos are so arrogant and egotistical that THEY name projects after THEMSELVES using OUR money.

Does anyone else see something wrong with this practice?

Dean, if you want to dedicate a pool to yourself, pay for it YOURSELF. Have you no shame or sense of decency?
