Idaho Motorists Warned About Rest Stops

Does anyone remember when Coeur d Alene (Post Falls because we are jointed at the hip)was voted nationally "one of the best places to live"? Along with the praise comes the growth and the outside evils. Now we will be known 'nationally' for being "one of the best places to mainline and possibly be injured"--what a claim to fame. When I was a kid we were allowed to run around without fear and now I watch my grandchildren like a hawk because we have become a small metro area with huge metro area slime that our infrastructure is taxed to control.

Well I guess being known for if you need a needle or want a fix "please go to the rest area at Post Falls" is pretty good advertising for our druggies. It is sad that our wonderful small town community has come to this and that it is epidemic to the point that we really need 2 full police forces for local, county and state. 1 should only work drug related issues and the second could be a smaller division to handle the rest of the issues--our drug problem is that large. We should reactivate Faragate as a prisoner of war camp and put all of the druggies there so that we know where they are and what they are doing.
