This story doesn't say the whole truth-a guard shot and killed the inmate; he wasn't killed by rioters.

Ok, the stories are incredible about this riot on topix. Prison Guards are out number by far and large mass numbers. Why would they INTENTIONALLY start a RIOT. Sure you will find a few that like to be Barney Fife with a Badge, but it usually doesnt take long before they get thier clocked cleaned and attitude adjusted. Convicts Lie, just a FACT, they want thier families to feel sorry for them being there, maybe even like an emotional black male.

I have worked in Missouri DOC Level 5 Male Prison and I am a female. The games that are played are unimaginable. They have 24/7 to think of ways to manipulate, con, and hurt staff. i do not care how much the pay is, it isnt enough for what Corrections staff are subjected too.

And as far as RIOTS, most are gang retaliation, or establishing dominacy within the walls. All prisons have STRICT standards for USE of FORCE levels and movement during elevated heat times. The officers have no say in who goes where. Its the movement time frame, and if the convict doesnt pay attention to that movement window thats on them.

All and all the convicts have it better than the staff that have to deal with thier stupid games!

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Sagittarius

After all the excitement of the past few days you're longing for the chance to put your feet up and take life easy for a while. Ideally, you should bury your nose in a good book and be left alone until you resurface for a food transfusion. But you'll also enjoy chatting to someone you know very well and for whom you don't have to make a big effort, such as a close relative.
