I am from Abilene and Dr. Burns has just been named as the sole finalist for the Superintendent position here. What is your take on his performance in Angleton?

Well, I graduated a number of years ago; but I recently passed through Angleton and I like what I see. THe new high school and athletic field are AWESOME! I know in the town that I live in now, our "lame" superintendent tried to get a bond election passed along with the school board and the tax payers did not but into dishing out more money to be mis-used. Angleton ISD appears to be thriving from his leadership! I wish we had him or his abilities as a leader in our small town. I think he may me a PRIZE to Abilene.
I am interested in hearing from other from Angleton -- please respond.
