Sheriff: Woman tried to smuggle drugs into jail

It would appear that the use of drugs has muddled her brain as well.

She should of used a remote toy Helicopter to fly the drugs into the jail. It could of flown over the walls and landed in a prescribed location with it's booty tucked away in the fuselage....

Nothing said about who the detention officer is that she was supposed to meet. Or, are they all suspects?

Stupid is as stupid does. This woman needs to be in jail and she needs her kids taken from her (most likely ) overly abundant backsides.

I'm sure the sheriff was on top of this like everything else. What a joke. Waller runs the department. When he can get around commissoner Chandler. (Murrays brother in law)

Senor Padilla and his sweetest flower, Ms. Lopez, are misunderstood by all. They are just a pair of crazy-in-love kids, doing what young lovers do. I admire his aspiring mind as well as her devotion.

I am first hand understanding the magnitude of the availibility of drugs in our local jails. I am totally baffeled as to why this is even possible at all. My hopes when my children were arrested was to get them help and use the "system" somehow to take them off the streets and to get them some kind of program or help. My philosophy was that if they were locked up they could detox and come to their senses.....but ....alas...they were just provided with what they needed while they waited to get out. I refused to get them out only to find that it too is to no avail because of the sympathy of other drug addicts. My hope was that the system would help....I guess I will have to try something else.

Or a setup sounds stupid. Check the jail staff they know somthing fishy.

I know the jail is totally overwhelmed....but still.....what good is a jail if they are still able to "use" while incarcerated!?!?! UUuuugggghhh!

MDC is crawling with creepy crawly things that work closely with Heads. It is a city within a city...

Not only did she break the law in a big way, she is cutting into the jailer's lucrative business. It's lose/lose any way you look at it.

Who is this DO their covering up for now city of clovis is dirty their whole judicial system is all jacked up. This is a set up! yeah what she did was wrong but something else is going on behind those steel doors!

Drugs are no respector of persons, they will take your children as well as mine. Then comes the system that you hope, "If they are locked up, they can get help!" Only to find when they are out they tell you there are so many drugs in there and that they still used while there!! This system is broken and now....so are my children! I have to wait until they "want" to quit and hope that in the mean time....they will be alive to see the day!

had a admitted,sexual predator,working ,as a LPN giving
out medication to prisoners,on saturday morning??????
he died oct 3rd going to work at MDC.in a auto acc.
he also was a catholic brother of the little brothers of good shepherd manor diocese,there in Albuquerque.
he spent time in prison in the Columbus,ohio area in
early 90's he is Registered in ohio as a Sexual ,predator. does your state even care ,don't MDC do back ground
checks.how did he slip through??????? I want to know...

I think her man set her up i feel bad for these girls that belive everything their boyfriends say because of lust they have in their heart if he cared for her he would have not asked her to do such a thing i hope open her eyes to see what is going on and learns.... and if the kids are not hers will they still take them away?
