One year a group of us pulled out our old bridesmaids dresses...put them on and went out as a bridal party looking for the lost bride. We had a blast...of course we were a little older and went from bar to bar (lived in DC at the time)...lots of free drinks!

i made wings for my fariey costume.
i used:
two sliver wire hangers
Real fall leaves
glitter
ripped stockings
super glue
thread

this can take an hour or so to make because of the glitter and sewing on the leaves to the stocking so they won't move.
frist bend the two hangers into the shape that you want them,then take your stocking and wrap it around the wire hangers, put in your leaves remember to sew and add glitter there you go you have wings.

I'm always looking for something unusual to dress up in for halloween. I liked the chicken costume so much, I thought I would make an adult one for myself to wear to work. Thanks alot to the mother who thought to put the idea up. My co workers are going to love this one. Thanks again, Dawn

Nothing like a scary pair of Halloween contact lenses to top off a home made Halloween costume.

They make them in non prescription strength also.

You can find creative materials all over your house. Look in your closet or basement. I'm sure you'll find something. Me and my best friend went as Baltimore hons! It was sooo much fun. We've also gone as made up monsters before.

P.S~Owendahooker that was rude what you said. I hope it's taken away by the monitor. This is suppost to give people ideas.
