Love new Paulies restaurant...Kid friendly and good bar crowd..Graet staff.Recommend the Calamari with balsamic glaze...Pizza is also very good. Much classier than the old Delmonicos..It was way over do for clean up.

I have to agree, this place is good. Went there New Years Day. Food was good and the price was reasonable.

Went to Paulie's 2/8/09, and the food was excellent. Our waitress Karen was fantastic. She had a great personality, and made the night a joy. I plan on going back.

For months I would see the parking lot packed every night, so finally had dinner there. Probably the worst meal I ever had. The drink (a martini concoction) was served without the garnish (the lime is important) and was actually warm. A straight up drink served warm, I didn't know that was possible.
Then the dinner: lobster and mussels over linguine in a "fiery" sauce. Sounds appetizing: the mussels were metallic (never a good sign). The lobster was served in its shell over a bowl of pasta in a red sauce: who invented this? It was the sloppiest meal I ever had. On top of it, the lobster was anything but fresh (you can tell by the fact I could not easily break the shells with the cracker) and the meat inside was mealy.
My complaint to the owner, "Paulie" was met with such a defensive and aggressive attitude, as if I had the nerve to complain. Restaurant owners forget that a customer who complains is a gift to them. The only highlight was the nice young waiter, who was apologetic throughout. He got a nice tip. Paulie's, and Paulie, however, have earned my absolute enmity. What a dump.

I worked for paulies and i can tell you those lobster where fresh because in the morning we'd get the delivery and they'd be in the walk in and one would always manage to get out. also they would cook it when you ordered it. you really sound uneducated in the culanary arts. lets start with there being a whole maine lobster that you thought was sloppy. first they crack the tail for you and they give you a cracker for the claws. this is a real restaurant are you so used to eating at long john silvers that you dont realize lobser doesnt come from a can dummy. by the way the "red sause" is fre diablo sause and its homemade just like 99% of the menu. paul had every right to not take your complaint serius you sound stupid and your the only person i've ever heard complain like that. by the way i know i made a few spelling errors the babies up and just want to put you out there
