This is ridiculous. They said we were going to have freezing rain Tuesday night. Now we're in a watch for 2 days from now. I got $10 that says no way.

nice, fire up the plows ( then let them sit at the yard like they have all year) and call out the tow trucks, hope to impound enough cars to get some cash for the city...

6 inches of snow is a legitimate story, but since when did 6 inches become "major."

Well it is definitely enough to cause major travel problems for highways, interstates, and airports. And the watch is not in effect for two days, it is in effect (for the Twin Cities) for Thursday afternoon and evening (peak travel times). Get more information at www.weather.gov/twincities .

Yet another ominous sign of global warming. Snow in February. What's next? More snow in March? When will we wake up as a nation and pour the trillions needed into solving this problem, and proving algore to be the true visionary that he is.

It has to be over 12"

I am still waiting for the snowblower to come by from the last "big one."

Headline says 'up to 6 inches'. First paragraph says 'more than 6 inches'. The only possibility not predicted is 'exactly 6 inches', so that's what will happen...I predict.

Okay, 6" may not be that much for most of us, but I know of at least a once person at work who calls in when there's only 3". Whenever that happens, I have the urge to hop in my car (no 4 wheel drive) & pull up in their driveway just to see the look on that employees face.

Sorry, just had to let that out!

Krist...if it snows, move your stupid car. Time to grow up and quit blaming the rest of the world for your inability to own a garage.

It seems like whenever they hype up a snow storm, we get nothing. Then they say we might get some light flurries and we get hammered.

Bring on the hype
one pull start guaranteed

Okay, I get to fire up my new snowblower. I need the practice. Only really used it once this winter, was thinking I made a mistake to get one.

In response to this article, I just sent the entire office staff home. The article has them preoccupied, staring out windows looking for flakes.

Since productivity is at a standstill, off they go. No I won't have to be astounded when they call in or want to go home early tomorrow.

6 inches, big deal.

If "they" say six inches, we will get one or two.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Gemini

Grit your teeth as Mars turns retrograde, as things annoyingly don't go to plan. Certain people are going out of their way to be difficult. Is an older relative throwing the proverbial weight around and telling you what to do? The greater the gap between your ages or social status, the more irritated you'll be.
