To all past, present, and future kampers at kastle: I agree that Brian has a problem, is in jail, and most likely never will set foot on the property again. For those of us that camp there, and have in years past, the campground has improved over the past few years. Now hear me out. Up until about 5 years ago, it was known as the party kampground, booze and drugs. New owners came in and did some cleaning up of sites, riff raff and evicted people that shouldn't be there. It became more of a family campground. Ownership changed again and now we have the drama created by the owner. This owner has only, and I repeat only has been running it for one full year, not years as the media and other campers have been telling. Yes, there are staff problems, some, many are over zealous. A few are a pleasure to work with and be able to ask for help with. Activities are still going on as normal, both for campers, and seasonals. Remember, many of these people help/volunteer outside of their regular jobs, trying to help the campers have an enjoyable weekend. Any suggestions are always appreciated if you would like to help with over 600 sites and a mini city on a large weekend, put your money where your mouth is and pitch in, versus complaining about it.
