Talked to my attorney again yesterday just before the office closed. Said he checked all possible sources and there are no liens filed against me by my secondary insurance company. However, the law says they have to notify the insurance company that I have received a settlement. FL is a subrogation state and this is the law. I just wonder why the attorneys just now discovered this fact.

I agree - they knew you all were getting paid a settlement when you got the 1st 40% payment. Why the delay?

I hope all of you contact Judge Fallon's Office and B&G befroe the next meeting the first week in December. Maybe that will get some action. tHIS IS crazy!

well, yesterday it came was very sad over the reasonable charges 10k+ i knew i should have talked to Dick in Ohio first but was to desparate about to have life insurance lapse and who will ever get anymore after vioxx?

ky nurse, I am happy for you that it finally came,I am also sorry you raked over the coals on the fees.I certainly hope & pray Judge Fallons opens an investigation on the fees some of these attorneys have and are charging for being paper pushers.My total fees were only 775.00,It's horrible how some attorneys are robbing the victims,seems to be no end to our suffering.

Sorry, it is on November 13th and is a form for lawyers to maybe send letters explaining the settlement procedure.

I am so happy for all of you that have gotten their checks, I never got my interim check and now can't seem to get the final one either. Signed papers, but nothing since. This just isn't right!

Paula hat to be a pain but I must not have Judge Fallon's website because The only thing I find listed is for Oct 23rd.If you have his addrsss I would appreciate it.Thanks.

SKM they say you should get a check about 7-10 days after you sign the papers. Hang in there. Keep calling!
