Didn't your parents ever tell you not to spread rumors or talk behind other people's backs?? If they didn't, I feel sorry for you as you were not brought up right!!!! I know for a fact that some people on this blog have records as well. Wait till you do something wrong, see how people will treat you differently!!!

I have all the manners in the world... I am not talking behind anyones back...ITS ALL RIGHT HERE FOR HER AND EVERYONE TO READ. Oh yes..Laura is so caring. Too bad she doesnt treat her husband so caring...but thats not what this blog is all about....Yes..she has such wonderful manners, doesnt she?!!! Stealing from accounts at A BANK! You will soon see when this investgation is over how correct we were on here...BUT, lets see how you turn that all around too. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. OH AND BTW...Some of the people writing on here work for the town and if they dont have records...THEY SHOULD!!!! ALll the stuff that is hidden and kept quiet in this town,.

If she was taken in handcuffs WHY is this not news? Who is paying off the press to keep this quiet the Bank or the relatives? Could it be both....if this was anyone else it would be all over the news so looks to me like a payoff some where. Also wondering why the Liberty Bank employee in Middletown is also not hitting the news for the same thing. Any info out there on this as well??

If it wasn't so hush hush and people knew the facts then rumors would not be so rampant, but because it has been brushed under the rug then that is what happens. It is not an issue of personal stake or jrealousy ot other personal reasons. People in Deep River have seen this kind of behavior from our town official before. what ever she did it should be public information!People are right to take issue with the fact that the information has been squashed. I have seen situations less severe on the news and in the paper.

So very true. There are people making the news for far less. I hope the people in that town think long and hard about the elected officials the next time they vote. They should think about how wrong it was to have your parents and husband buy silence. The officials-police in that town should be ashamed of themselves!

hey 'ilovedeepriver' You dont seem to get it. People are pissed off because they still have nothing to go on. Nothing came out. It's all being covered up. What are you missing? If it was anyone else it would have been all over. Many of these rumors come from close sources. You think someone is just making this up for the hell of it?

I heard the news was alerted and still no news item was printed or televised....great town that Deep River and it's job of covering up to protect those with connections!

Amazing that they put it togeather after the election.

Is anyone really shocked over that Scruffy? Payoffs to keep it quiet until right after the election. Hope Deep River is happy with their elected choice!

When will the "elected choice" approve the town constables???

So, does anyone know when the town constables are "commissioned" by the board of selectmen?

Today is court date - will this be reported?

The question really is how many Deep River employees lost their job on cash differences before Laura was sought out? Answer .. Too many!!!!
