Word is out that the great Superintendent Jack Robinson is looking for another job.
It has also been said in local rumors that when he aproached Rose Bud Schools looking for a job he was turned down. Looks like Robinsons reputation has proceeded him as it should. I personally hope Shirley Arkansas is the last place this horrible excuse of a human being will ever destroy a school. Or break a community building another new building based on his lies and dishonesty. Hey Jack, maybe you can get a job with the city of Fairfield Bay. They have a reputation kind of like yours. And they want to build a Hotel / Motel. You could move your contractors over there and start building one right away. And maybe you could get the Rotary Club to donate all the furniture like you mentioned once for the new school. Good Luck Job Hunting. I will say a prayer you find one. |

I guess Rosebud cares more about thier school. Than to have a super that dislikes county people calling them moochers and delinquents. Wonder how big pink will get along with a super that actually likes kids!
|
||||
|
Well Emma I do not think the big Pink will last long enough to get use to another Super. The next one should be smart enough not to want her or her kind working with him/her. You know her reputation is equal to his, maybe worse. After all the teachers and the students have to do whatever she says or "hit the road". Remember her motto is "my way or the highway".
I am still interested under what circumstances these two were hired. I understand he solicited her but who wanted him? Are his background credentials that good. Not what I heard. |

"Hey Jack, maybe you can get a job with the city of Fairfield Bay." HEY, DON'T SEND HIM HERE. WE HAVE ENOUGH OF HIS KIND ALREADY. DON'T NEED ANYMORE AND DON'T NEED A HOTEL EITHER BY THE WAY.

FACT VS FICTION----No--Mr. Robinson was NOT turned down at Rosebud School--he was ask to apply for the job and was offered the position--but did not accept. Good Superintendents are hard to find--especially those that know law and finances as good as he does.

It's Rose Bud not Rose Bus---who wrote this headling?

Well here we go again. Ole Dotty knows it all so everyone again are liars exception of her.
So "He was asked to apply for the job" ought to tell you something is definitely wrong with his job here. So WHO told him to apply for the job. I definitely heard they did not want him which in view of all that has happened in Shirley makes more sense than him turning it down. Yep, I say he is trying to get out before the it really gets nasty with lawyers and such. I agree that good Superintendents are hard to find which is why this district is in such a mess because we do not have one. Keep on trying J.R. Somewhere there is a community who has not heard how you suckered Shirley that will be stupid enough to hire you. Their pain, our gain. However, you and big Pink are becoming notorious. |

XFactor, what difference does the heading make? Everyone knows where it is. LOL, must be wonderful to never make a mistak, misteak, mistake. Who asked you to monitor the spelling.

Yes he was turned down and rightfully so. But if you can get him the job PLEASE SEND HIM OVER THERE. You are correct that a good Super is hard to find. Shirley hasn't been able to find one in the last few years. As far as that idiot knowing the law thats BULL. Ask him about the laws of booze on school property. He dont know anything about that one even though its on a sign on side of the road and in employee handbooks. But maybe him knowing a bit about the law is why he hire an attorney in Conway to get his butt out of the sling its in. Now to finances. If he is so sharp on budgeting money why dont he answer the questions about the new school budget that was asked? Mr Moore asked him how much was in budget and how much had been spent and he refused to answer. And he has yet to answer cause the dollars are a mess. You being so knowledgable let me ask you. Where is the donation from the Rotary Club Robinson said he had? I heard he only attended 1 Rotary Meeting and was begging then. He is looking like what he is from here. At least he has a friend in you. Maybe y'all can share that lawyer or move over to Rose Bud where you think your welcome. Anyway, it will be nice when y'all just leave for what ever reason. The Sooner The Better. Im sure ready to say my good riddens..... |

Hey Dotty, I just wanted to say you might want to get your head out from under that rock cause the water is still rising. |

Hi Local. You said a mouthful and I agree 100%.
Like you I am interested in this school's income and expenditures. I would like the opportunity of seeing where all monies come and go. If he and she are so sharp budgeting then why are the finances such a mess, laying off good teachers. I believe he said at Feb/March meeting that the losses would be a half million dollars due to loss of students and whatever. If I am in error someone please correct me. Without proper minutes being recorded by the so-called Secretary, and no co-operation elsewhere, I would like to be refreshed on this subject. Who is their Auditor? I want to talk to him. |

I haven't been here in a while but was told about this and couldn't be more happy about Robinson hunting work.
It sounds like someone kin to him is trying to defend him or make him sound to have an ounce of credibility but that smoke can't be blown up just anyones butt. With that said I had a thought I wished to share. Jack Robinson made the comment that the school wasn't located in a democracy. So in his mind he doesn't live in the free world. In the news we hear that Castro is about dead and ready to give up his power in Cuba. Wouldn't a tyrant like Jack Robinson fit well in a place like Cuba where there truly is NO DEMOCRACY? |
||||
|
Jeeze April, where have you been hiding? I am so mad because I did not think to tell ole Jack about the job opening in Cuba. Him and the big Pink would fit in soooo well. Let's get them gone and how about sending a few board members with them.

Like I posted on another Forum I am going to send Topix.com to all my friends. I want them to read about the crap going on here in this very small community. Yes, Yep, Yep...good way of getting the attention of the outside Arkansas world.

1 I saw happy high schoolers going to & fro in an environment where they seemed so carefree--didn't have any fear of a bomb or a snipers bullet. That my friends is something to be proud of. I saw and heard Elementary students screaming and laughing on their playground just like they have done for years and just like we did when I attended. I am so pround of the new High School. It is a beautiful building in a picturesque setting--would make anyone want to attend school or work there. These students and parents need to be thankful for such a nice facility and a nice environment where children can go and receive a FREE education. Yes, I received a free education at Shirley School too, except for buying my own textbooks. I have some very fond memories of school at Shirley. We did not have the conveniences and the nice facilities that students have now. We had to draw water from a well with a bucket to get a drink in a homemade cup we had fashioned from scrap paper. Also, to use the restroom we had to go half way down the hill towards the river where old homemade toilets were placed. Going down wasn't too bad but coming back up was a pain and you would be in a hurry to escape the stink of the old toilet. As a seventh grader, our history class was in the old gym in the room where ISS is now. In winter it was really cold in that classroom. The only heat was an old wood stove that was situated on one side of the building where bleechers were then and away from the classroom. Occassionally, when it was extremely cold and we complained about the temperature; the teacher would let us go out in the gym and run to warm up. This was good for it meant we could warm up. However, there was a stipulation that we had to run fast or every time the teacher passed us (he would also be running and was a long legged athletic type male from Heber Springs) we would get a swat on the tail with a paddle. I couldn't run too fast so I got lots of swats on the tail. Didn't feel too good but my classmates and I always played by the rules and kept going with a positive attitude. I did all right for myself and all my classmates did too. These swats on the tail didn't warp our personalities. We all made productive citizens. I am spending too much time on this computer when I could be spending this time and energy aiding the tornado victims and going to visit an elderly person. Anyway, something positive always makes a body feel better--Try it and see, Be careful what you wish for--things could get a lot worse if your wishes came true. |

1 The new HS is nice. No one has denied it. Just worried how to get it paid for without higher taxation with limited incomes and rising prices. Why wouldn't kids be happy before and after school? It is the inbetween times that some of them now dread. There is no bomb threats. There is no shootings....NOW....Clinton has had a bomb scare and UALR has had shooting deaths recently. You send your children to school thinking they are safe only to have them abused. It could happen to any of them, even yours. Whatever happened to the boy who said he was going to bring his gun to school and Ms C had him sent off. A disgruntled person, regardless of their age, along with a gun, is a dynamite situation. It can happen, it has happened, elsewhere. We are so fortunate it has not happened here. |

1 Emma you have to be ashamed of yourself for attacking this person who said no harsh words toward anyone but only told the feelings of their heart. You and the few others that are spreading all the vile hatred toward the school and a select few individuals should consider your position. "FYI" it is also obvious that you love children as well as the school and I assume you are a local, why dont you run for the school board. We need your help in the school system. |
