1 When one is confronted with this dilemma, old Silvestre Reyes is always a good place to start. Consider this statement: "We need to enact reform that encourages people to come forward without fear, so that our law-enforcement agencies can focus their efforts on those individuals who pose a security risk," Reyes said. Massive illegal migration of illiterate, unskilled workers easily manipulated by the demagogues of special interest groups pose a risk to any nation. In fact, it may already be too late to keep these peons from changing the course of our politics from democracy to socialism. Come forward "without fear?" A people who can trespass and squat in a foreign country and at the same time receive welfare benefits, free medical care and free schooling for their kids is not going to respect any law that might be an obstacle to their pathway to security at the U.S. taxpayers' expense. The globalists are in a frenzied race with time. They need to get this bill passed before all the sanctuary cities prove them crazy. Los Angeles and San Francisco are teetering on the brink of total economic collapse because of immigration and a rapidly shrinking taxpaying citizenry. |

1 Imagine, to utter those words and mean it! With the flagrant corruption enabling cartel growth and with it, the demise of Mexican citizen support; how does the Mexican Government feel that the Juarez citizens want outside government military patrolling their streets?! The biggest face slapping is wanting OCCUPATION of the UN!! How's that feeling?? More trust in UNKNOWN SOLDIERS THAN THEIR own!!!! Mexico needs to be stabalized FIRST AND FOREMOST! And now, the Arizona governor proclaims the border safe so we can follow blindly on another road to hell; with the yet unfinished fence being their benchmark! What a joke, |

1 I , for one, do not buy your propaganda for a minute. The Bush administration established the straightly of passing "comprehensive immigration reform" (AKA amnesty) after presenting the appearance of stepped up enforcement. What a Sham. The thinking was, if the public believed Homeland Security was doing its job, they would support amnesty as part of immigration reform. In my opinion the public is smarter than that. Since DHS never made a effort to confront the most visible failure of immigration enforcement, the department has absolutely no credibility with the public. No effort has been made to crack down on the Day Laborer population. These people do not contribute to our economy, and wreck havoc on the communities where they exist. Your assumption that DHS is responsible for reducing illegal aliens in this country is laughable. With unemployment in this country over 10 % who in their right mind would pay thousands of dollars to a coyote and then not be able to find a job. In my opinion the reduced border crossing numbers are primarily due to economic factors. The policies you have adopted during your administration will lead to lower numbers of illegal aliens being deported. By forcing employers to fire illegal aliens without deportation or prosecution for identity theft allows them to remain in this country. It doesn't take a genius to figure that those fired will try to find better IDs and try again. The changes in the 287g program restores the practice of catch and release since less illegal aliens will qualify for deportation after being detained by local authorities on unrelated charges. With millions of illegal aliens in this country and your claim of stepped up enforcement, one would expect to see an increase in the number of deportations. What you are reporting is a decrease in deportations. You are responsible for enforcing the law, not finding ways around enforcement. You should be explaining to the public changes your department needs to enhance enforcement. After all enforcement was the failure of the last "immigration reform". Advocating that this country should again repeat the same failed amnesty program will only diminish your credibility in the eyes of the public. This country needs to put our unemployed back to work. Deporting foreign nationals in this country illegally frees those jobs for our citizens. E-Verify needs to be mandatory nationwide for all employers. |

One of the problems with an "Amnesty" is that the hundreds-of-thousands of Middle Eastern illegals that have "overstayed" their "student visas" and are working in the "hummas" established by the Palestians in Brooklyn and Flushing, Queens, New York will also be allowed to set foot on the "path to citizenship" as well as the Salvadoran gangsters that infest US cities: Have you ever wondered where the illegals get there attitude about complying with US immigration laws: http://usapatriots.ning.com/profiles/blogs/im... |

1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:US_Sanctuar... As soon as the next amnesty bill for illegal aliens becomes law, most of these cities will be asking for a Government bail-out to defray the costs incurred for providing social services and infrastructure costs for the non-tax-paying foreign invaders. There can be not doubt that Los Angeles and San Francisco have been asked by this administration to hold their bail-out requests in abeyance until they amnesty bill passes. The other sanctuary cities have the same problem. Once again, they try to disguise the amnesty bill by calling it "immigration reform." They did that in 1986 with the Immigration Control and Reform Act of 1986 which only exacerbated the problem. |

1 Everyoone knows that. It does not justify the most flagrant violators of our immigration laws: Mexicans. |

Thats correct, but no other ethic group is larger than those from Latin American countries. |

No, I wasnt trying to justify any violations nor minimize the number of hispanics. I was reminding most that Mexicans have become the target while others go unmentioned.
By the same token, do you realize that we have a very large representation out of the former Iron Curtain countries and the Continental Europe. So let's have equal opportunity when discussing immigration. |
