Looks like you need to move out. I personally like Chico's. Also, type in lower case. It's seriously annoying to read stuff in caps.

Well I recently moved to El Paso and I agree that there is very rude people I say that because there is no kindness whar so ever I got a flat tire and noone offered to help I had to drive with a flat till I found a place to fix it and my mom had the same problem when she needed jumper cables at walmart she would ask people to borrow jumper cables and they would rudely reply don't have any and look at her like she was asking for money or something.I mean don't get me wrong I really like living here but I don't know why alot of people not all but most are rude and unkindly it's as if some people don't have any manners,I don't know why people here are so hostile and also money hungry and judgemetal.

You sure it's the people and not you? I've met lots of nice people in El Paso. I've worked with lots of nice people in El Paso. I once worked in a factory down by the airport and the people who worked there (mostly mexican people) were super hard workers and very kind and friendly. Can't say the same for the management, but for the most part, most people were very nice.

Don't judge a whole city by a few experiences.

El Paso truly is the "armpit" of Texas.
I am ashamed to be from El Paso. It harbors some of the laziest and most unmotivated people on the face of the earth.
Everyone in El Paso is all talk.
The only people in El Paso that are worth anything are "imports," people that came to El Paso to establish businesses because they knew they could get cheap labor; people that would work for minimum wage for 20 years and never even THINK to look for another job.
El Paso has ONE strong point: Chico's Tacos. How sad.
If the US Army ever decided to "move shop" somewhere else, El Paso would truly become the decaying wasteland that it already appears to be. I can only imagine what people driving through from Dallas to California must think of it when they pass through!
A putrid dustbowl of a town.
And that's what El Paso is: a big STINKPILE with a city limit sign.
I feel sorry for news reporters fresh out of college that are relegated to getting their first job at one of the local TV stations. They must count the days in their contracts and constantly keep in touch with their agents to find them a better gig elsewhere so they can get the hell out of El Puto at the very first opportunity.
El Paso sucks.
I can't say I blame you. I agree. I have lived here off and on for most of my adult life and this city has been dragged down because it is being contaminated by the fact that it is slapped right ontop of a backward, third world country, Mexico, where 90% of its population lives in abject poverty. A huge cesspool of garbage from Mexico flows across the border and contaminates everything this city has to offer. We live in a city that because it is on the border with Mexico, has become a city with a totally backward, third world mentality that has driven this city straight into the ground. A curious thing tho.........
All the big publications like Forbes and the Wall Street Journal say that El Paso is the sixth poorest major metropolitan area in percapita income in the USA. But you wouldn't know it if you took a drive through the streets on the Westside overlooking Franklin Highschool where you will see row after row after row of plush million dollar McMansions.Where does the money come from for so very many plush opulent homes like that in such a desperately poor city like El Paso? Yep all the rich refugees from Juares along with lots of drug money show you what it is really like to live in Mexico just by taking a driving tour of the streets on the Franklin Mountain foothills on the westside.

What?!?! Anglos and blacks? LOL You're psycho man! The only anglos and blacks I ever see are Joes who hate it just as much here but are stuck, or Joes who somehow ended up here by accident. People who say they love it here are psycho! People who have no aspirations and are ok with mundane, minimum wage jobs love it here. People who's only desire is to get married, have kids and die love it here. People who just want to settle love it here. Stupid Mexican peoples love it here 'cause it's all they know! DOn't give me that crap that you traveled the world. LMAO What a crock of shhh.

So, what kind of education do you have TOOLate? W/out proper education, you probably will not make huge chunks of cash. As recently as last year, I made $100K+ in El Paso. I am no longer there, but I can't say that it was horrible, bad or anything like that.

Yeah, you will not make 6 figures with a high school diploma (unless you run your own business). Can you make a lot of cash out there. Absolutely.

Is it as common as other places? No. Are people there nice? I'd like to think they are.

You're being sarcastic right? The funniest part of your entry was "descent football team." You mean decent.

As a former military member I can honestly say I have been to many places worse than El Paso, some of you need to get out more. You are going to find dumb ignorant people everywhere, people who have no aspirations to better themselves. In the end, it doesn't matter where you are from or what school you went to, if you want to achieve success you will. Blaming your failures on a city? LMAO, leave.....or better yet, contact your local recruiter, I'm sure you'll love it in Iraq or Leesville, LA.

Pssst... Your IGNORANCE is showing.

Good point Funny. I concur, what business do El Paso lovers have on an 'I Hate El Paso Forum'? lol Yeah, make this city better how? Hey who called me ignorant? How can I be ignorant? Ignorance would be me making judgments based on absolutely no first-hand experience. It would just be a cruel perception. I don't pull judgements out of my a___ though. I say mean things because I've had horrible experiences you know? Because I'm hurting financially. Please don't pull the degree card out on me man. I'm working toward that. Do you think I will stay here once I get it? I mean it'd probably be smart to go elsewhere to actually benefit from my investment no? I'm sorry Funny, screw that "make it a better place, we are the world" mumbo jumbo. Mmmm not feeling it. So whoever called me ignorant (I don't remember who), is actually ignorant themself. You don't know me dude. I come on here and express my anger and frustration on a thread titled "I Hate El Paso". I'm sure there's an 'I Love El Paso Forum' somewere...er not.. lol I won't go crash your party dude. Don't crash mine

And who the heck lied about making 100k here in El Paso? Omg if that ain't a crock of s____ I don't know what is. Ok a doctor's salary perhaps, but what the ___ is a doctor doing on here? LMAO

Sorry that potty mouth of mine.
