I think the best thing in this situation is to go through the system and find the inmates, all, not just the baby boomers, and kick the simple ones out. Seriously, inmate housing is expensive and when there are so many who are in because they stole from Wal-Mart and therefore violated parole or got into a fight with the neighbor to the same effect. People who are in prison for nonviolent and silly things, for heavens sake, make them pay for their own meals and medical. Don't leave it up to the innocent taxpayers. I didn't do anything wrong. Don't take it out of my check!
Stop assuming a few years in the slammer will straighten them up. Sure, it probably will but at what cost. Wal-Mart doesn't care. They won't even miss the few dollars, I will.
