Aging Inmate Population Strains Prisons Budget

I think the best thing in this situation is to go through the system and find the inmates, all, not just the baby boomers, and kick the simple ones out. Seriously, inmate housing is expensive and when there are so many who are in because they stole from Wal-Mart and therefore violated parole or got into a fight with the neighbor to the same effect. People who are in prison for nonviolent and silly things, for heavens sake, make them pay for their own meals and medical. Don't leave it up to the innocent taxpayers. I didn't do anything wrong. Don't take it out of my check!
Stop assuming a few years in the slammer will straighten them up. Sure, it probably will but at what cost. Wal-Mart doesn't care. They won't even miss the few dollars, I will.

I'm with you lady. Let's kick all of the simple-minded ones out. They must have been out of their minds to rob Wally World while they was out on parole. Now you kinda lost me on that "in prison for ...silly things". I don't recall too many people going up the river on that charge. And as far as taking it out of your check, we really don't do it like that; we wait until you buy something (we like to call it sales tax). And of course a few years in the slammer; most of them kinda get bent over a bunch.

why should the simple-minded ones be kicked out? I mean come on do you really want some living next to you because they've stole from wal-mart. I don't! I say if they will steal from wal-mart than you'd better lock your door if we turn them all out. Let them spend the time handed down by the court system thinking for a change maybe they will pay wal-mart next time and we all win!!!

my friend is in a year and a half for violating on a driving charge he wasn't drunk or without a seatbelt but he didn't have his license it was suspended that was wrong of him and that was dumb of him but a year and a half, i mean come on, a little bitty thing like driving on a suspended. how do you explain that to his son? why do i have to be punished? he doesn't have to tell him, i do.
