Keith Urban defies country stereotypes

i want keith to win the music awards

he aint country,hes a pop singer country my ass.
there isnt different genres of music anymore it all sounds the same.

Any of the singers could do country. It is nothing more then a whinning and redneck drawl!
Hillbilly blowing, farting, etc!

He is the best entertainer I have seen in my life. And I have seen a few in my day. No matter what you call it, country, pop, rock he is a master at the guitar. You only wish you could have that much talent.

Keith Urban is a great entertainer! His music is quite inspirational. He has come thru so much to get to where he is today. You can call him Country, Pop, rock...whatever...he still is one of the best entertainers out there today! I know Iam not the only who feels this way. He has quite a following of fans who know just how great he is....and he just keep getting better...and better...and better!!....Keep the faith alive!....Keithlover

no real country singers have raw talent,rock n roll singers are talented pop music is for fags and little girls,, rap and hip hop is just a bunch of no talent hacks made to sound better by electronic equipment beside tupac they all sound like shit in real life.

Hey Lucy...unfortunately, we need to know eachother's names to look eachother up on face book. Since we all do not want to release that info...(and again I really understand) we will just have to stay in touch on this forum. If you change your mind just let us know. I come on here quite often so we will stay in touch. Do not know what happened to the other Gals. I guess with summer here and school's out...they must be busy. I don't like country. My favorite singers are Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Lil' Wayne, Lil' mama, etc..........

Hi honey ... been a long time ... am back in Cape Town after nearly 4 months in Australia ... I stayed on to get my resident visa renewed and luckily I got it ... just in time as they have now stopped processing visas altogether!

I didn't go online much in Oz as I was using someone else's line and only did the essentials. I often 'lurked' here as they call it ... but didn't have time to respond much.
Have had health issues, but slowly sorting them out; I think! basically it is just old age creeping up!

I have a way for you and Lucy to get to Facebook. I am happy to give my full name, Yvonne Sumter - do a 'search' on it on FB ... if you request to become 'friends' with me and join my list, you will then see Windy there as a friend, tho under a different name. I will post on my wall your links, which is not public, then you and she can connect. That will be safe.

It is lots of fun and nice to 'see' everyone everytime you connect ... makes everyone feel closer. But do post a picture that shows the real you!

I saw "stars of country" on Oprah a couple of days ago ... Kenny, Carrie, Sugarland, and a black dude - forgot his name - but no Keith, although they showed a documentary of a day in the life of Kenney Chesney and there on his wall of pics he has at his venues was a pic of Keith! Keith should've been there ... but maybe because of his cross-over into other genres, he may not be considered strictly 'country'. so be it ... I love his rock'y stuff the most anyway. I do love full-on country tho ... someone was saying on the show that country is the true blues, or the most emotionally connecting - or something to that effect ... and I think that may be true.
