What is the only way an abuser can get away with abusing/keep abusing a child? It is by making the child's realities the lies that the abuser feeds them.
The only way to stop this on a grand scale for all children is by making sure children's realities become the laws and governing we are all expected to abide by and pay for our entire lives.
How do we accomplish this for children from at least age 4-5 and up you wonder?
That is simple, mandatory education of governing ways kindergarten throughout high school because when childrens' realities become the laws etc., the abuser can no longer make the abusers lies the childs reality!
I would like to see if there is one Justice Of The Peace this day and age who can look an abused child in the face and say "ignorance of the law is no excuse"
Time is coming for change no matter the greedy on any pedestal!

Stay out of here with your B.S. rant and rave spam. Although touching it doesn't belong in THIS forum.

"Ignorance of the law never stopped anyone from practicing it." ~(former judge of a small town in Bergen County)
Child abuse is alive and well unfortunately. It's sad today we need to educate kids about pedophiles at a young age. The law isn't always on the child's side and many suffer in silence for the rest of their lives. There is nothing lower than a creep the abuses a child. Anyone who disagrees with that needs to get their head examined.

Yes D.J.S. you are right-on about Saving Children Suffering from their Abusers. And Yes a Real Garfielder (from Newark) it does belong in this forum. And D.J.S. you hit it right-on the head with how the abusers gets away with it because the child's "realities" the lies of the abuser. There should be mandatory education for children and you are absolutely right with Ignorance Of The Law Is No Excuse. Unfortunanely most abuses happen to 'slow' children who aren't able to express themselves or are terribly afraid to. But it also happens to 'Smart/Well Advanced' children too. The schools should have special classes teaching children simple things like it is Wrong for (lets say a father) to hop into bed with them under any circumstances for any reason. But yet when it does happen these children are so terrified because of being threatened that they will get whipped more and more and more. It is very sad that a child has to live with a Secret like that. Unfortunately there are abusers who come onto forums like this one and they were the worst abusers of all. They probably don't even remember half of what they did...you know blanking it out of their mind. Thank God I had a decent father who was a decent human being and denounced abuse of any kind. Hope all had a good memorial day and honored the vets who helped up live in a free country.

I enjoy the same rights as everyone else. Who the hell are you to say i don't belong here? You should learn to read and most of all how to spell. That's the problem these days. When I was a kid and I did something wrong i got my ass kicked. It wasn't called abuse, it was called discipline. Kids today have the upper hand and they know it and they use it to their advantage. Right away they'll threaten their parents "go ahead and hit me I'll call the police or DYFS on you" then you the parent looses control because you've lost your right to be a parent and discipline you own kids in your own home. Anyway I will not be told by anyone where i do or don't belong. IT IS A FREE COUNTRY and I'm staying right here. It is you who claims to have moved, so go misspell in the forum wherever it is that you moved to.

I have to agree with RealGarfielder on his points.
Discipline is a dead art with many of today's parents. They let their kids run their lives and get away with bad behavior. Then the school teachers tells them you need to put your child on medication so he can learn better. So you have a drugged kid with no leadership at home or respect for his parents, teachers or authority. It's a prefect set up for failure. Then the parents scratch their heads and wonder what they did wrong. Moved, we are all entitled to our opinions and everyone has the right to be here even if we don't share the same values or ideas. But to be fair, RealGarfielder didn't think David Jeffrey Spetch should be here either. Right or wrong it's better to have our thoughts and beliefs challenged once in a while. It's part of our never ending learning process. I only wish more people would reduce their feelings, thoughts and ideas to words and post them here. There's enough space for everyone here.

Yes Old School there is enough room for all. But, abuse is abuse no matter how you look at it. I totally agree with the medication thing. The first thing the school does is put the child on ridilin (not sure of the spelling). This way the parents and teachers both do not have to deal with an active-health-happy child. All these drugs are mind alterating as far as I am concerned. Not so much in the grammer school years but when they become adults---after being on these meds for so long---it has to do something to their mind---change it someway/somehow. There's nobody who could take drugs legal or illegal for years on end and not have it change who they are. All because some child is figedy...now that's a shame. Opps #3 on my image# again...Hope all had a great Memorial Day and remembered what the true meaning is.

I'm glad to see people agreeing with me today instead of argueing with me. I just hate when people not only NOT from Garfield or NOT from New Jersey, and NOT EVEN FROM THIS COUNTRY coming in here and posting comments that are way off topic. The guy is from Ontario CANADA. Yes everyone has a right to say what they want, free speech and all, so go to a child abuse group with posts like that not in Garfield NJ. Moved I owe YOU an apology for picking on you for misspelling on your posts. You seem like a nice person and I want to get along with the nice people in here and all the other groups that I go into. By the way I had a great Memorial Day. An extra day off from work is always a good thing;>} Although that is not as IMPORTANT as remembering and thanking those who made such sacrifices for all of us.
One more thing you should start playing the lottery on the image numbers that have a 3 in them. Mine is 5053 for this post.

Thank You A REAL Garfielder. Basically my problem with spelling is my keyboard. I could type 80 WPM and accurately...but with the keyboard on my computer if I do not go slowely and really push each key down it skips over the letter and - you know the rest. It would be okay if I kept keying at a much slower pace. But I'm on my work break between the morning/afternoon school bus runs and by time I walk the dog (the min. little over a mile) and do other things I'm sort of rushing. Then I have P/T work at an animal hospital and with senior citizens. So I try to 'type' inbetween. I do play the lottery and have won (not a whole bunch) using the number 3. I have a 3 & 6 in this image number. Sorry I didn't mean that you shouldn't be on this forum...it just came out the wrong way. My opinion was that since it was about saving children from abuse - thats what DJS was talking about. Since moving to the shore area I'm really look forward to the summer. With the price of gas, etc...I'll be expecting company most of the summer. One more week and the farmer's market opens down here...White Corn...had some already and it seems to be on the sweet side this year...at least so far.
