"Celebrating diversity" just got 13 people killed at Ft. Hood Lourdes. I'm so sick of that left-wing babble.

Just what this country needs: more people to compete for non-existent jobs and end up on the dole.

Martinez told new citizens that, because of concerns about the spread of H1N1 virus, she wouldn't offer a handshake while handing out certificates.

And the fact she will be seeing most of them again in her courtroom...

Now if thats not one of the dumbest comments i have read in a while... it is NOT the diversity that got people killed, it was an AMERICAN who did - Malik Hassan was an American born and raised here who didnt even speak ANY arabic fYI.

The problem was that neither the FBI nor his Army fellow soldiers stepped in to get his ignorant as.. kicked out. He was pretty obvious in his remarks and someoen should have intervened and kicked him out LONG TIME AGO.

I am a naturalized citizen,(of Austrian descendency) and i have A LOT to bring to the table - i dont appreciate mindless comments made about immigrants because America is BUILT on immigrants. We have a lot to offer (in my case: discipline, excellent work ethic, languages -i speak 4 of them, culture and knowledge of other nations.

1. You have nothing to offer me and my American family.
2. Immigrants did help build this country. Guess what? The USA has been built or a long time. Why do we need you?
3.He was a Jihadist, not an American. He slipped through the cracks because of political correctness run amok. That was the point.
4. Check your attitude newbie.

Border Native-American:

You are either:

1. Descended from immigrants, in which case you dishonor your family and heritage by being a bigot;

or:

2. Descended from the native people who inhabited this land before it was 'discovered' and colonized, in which case you ignore the suffering of your ancestors at the hands of those who drove them from their land by being a racist.

Either way, you don't look too good.

1. EVERYONE on the planet could be considered an immigrant under your capricious definition. Which makes your point moot.

2. Every group of persons takes land or has land taken from them from the beginning of time. For you to insinuate that only certain groups do it or have done it could be construed as "racism". Take a long hard look in your "racism" mirror.

3. You dishonor your heritage by being a superficial thinking drone regurgitating what your politically correct masters tell you. Crying "racism" at every opportunity to attempt to manipulate dialogues is not only dated, but weak and a sign of laziness. The truth always comes out in the wash. Get a clue.

4.I take it you are in high school right?

Not everyone on the planet-- just everyone whose ancestors didn't meet the boat when the white man arrived on this continent. That's not a capricious definition-- that's factual. And if you think that point is moot, try telling it to a person who is descended from the American Indians-- and be sure to duck.

And that's my point exactly. Almost all of us came from immigrant families or are immigrants ourselves. So it stands to reason that someone in that group who is complaining about immigrants is in denial of his/her origins and/or is simply a hypocrite. Which one are you?

1.So by using your broad brush logic, if I have money that you once had, that money is yours? If I own a house you once owned that is yours? If I take your queen in chess, you automatically get mine? Ridiculous generalizations. I take it you got booted out of Australia now you expect us to accomodate you because you are an "immigrant"? Par for the course.
2. My heritage built this country, of course I have ownership in it. If you have a problem with that go back to whence you came.
3. To end, why do you have a stick in your butt about white men? It is a racist attitude, but I guess they are white so it's "okay" right.

Your heritage built this country? Was it the Irish? The Chinese? The Africans? The Polish? The Jews? The Scandinavians? The Italians? The Anglicans? The Catholics? All of these people --and more-- endured hardship in coming here, many of them after being persecuted in their own country, and all of them suffered prejudice and discrimination in this country from bigots just like you.

So spill it, big boy-- where did they come from? And would you like to bet that they received similar treatment from xenophobic no-nothings like you?

You keep dodging and weaving, but you are afraid to admit that your ancestors were immigrants-- just like the ones you are trying to denigrate.

Your own words trap you; you dispute my logic, yet you use the exact same argument to claim:
My heritage built this country, of course I have ownership in it.
BTW: how do you figure I got booted out of Australia? If you are talking about post #5 above:

1. That was a different person posting, another member of your fan club-- not me;

and:

2. He said that he was from Austria-- not Australia. You *do* know the difference, don't you?

Geez, did you sleep through Geography, History, Logic *and* Reading Comprehension?

Yawn... I'm a native of America as I have already explained. You are not. You act like you are entitled to something from Americans. You are not. I asked you what you have to offer Americans and their families, you don't respond. So you resort to regurgitating the old standby of "bigotry, racism, phobia" blahh blah blah. So once again how are you making the lives of your hosts in their country, better? I would submit that you are not.

You're still flunking Reading Comprehension. Up until now I have never mentioned my national origin; here it comes: I am a third-generation American citizen, born in the USA to American parents and grandparents.

(And up until now *you* haven't mentioned your origin, either-- only your 'heritage,' but nothing about your country of birth, and nothing about where your ancestors came from-- are you ashamed to say? How's it feel to be on the other side of the Birther argument?)

And you have never asked me what I have to offer Americans and their families. So far, all you've done is tell poster #5 above that *he* had nothing to offer... and I already mentioned that I'm not him.

Try and keep up, OK? You don't even remember what *you've* said, let alone what I've said-- even when it's right on the screen in front of you, a few inches up from where you're typing. I feel like I'm in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

You are. This asshat actually argued that the ACLU is fraudulent because if you type "ACLU fraud" into Google, you get a lot of hits.

Seriously, I couldn't make this stuff up.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Scorpio

Your thoughts turn to the past today, putting you in a nostalgic mood. You're awash with sentimental tears as you dwell on days gone by or gaze at photos of people you'll never see again. However, try not to let this mood of reminiscence turn into a tendency to feel sorry for yourself and therefore to demand special treatment from others.
