No wonder there isnt enough money to pay for more police officers, or to pay for programs to help people stay out of jail... Our tax dollars are being waisted on high tech gadgets to make lazy correction officers lazier. As if it isnt hard enough to visit someone in jail they are making it harder, on the inmate and their families!! Being in jail or having a family member or friend is hard, its a horrible place, but to take away the face to face visits is just wrong. Dont believe the B.S. reasoning that its to stop contraband or free up officers because of lack of staff... Hire more officers, hire more C.O.'s with the money you'll save by not blowing our tax dollars on your toys!

once you go to jail you give up certain freedoms. i'm more concerned with protecting the rights of the jail employees than the jailee. people who complain saying they won't visit have the right to not visit.
today people use webcams to stay in touch via their computers. i don't buy the argument that prisoners will have a hard time readjusting to people when they get out of jail. i would also venture to say that not getting along with people in society is what got many convicts in jails in the first place.
Your an idiot. You obviously were raised in a happy little bubble... Step away from the T.V. and go outside... Your screen name is teacher... I hope your not, you obviously have the I.Q. of a gym shoe. Take a psychology class, go visit a jail cell and listen to the lives some of the inmates come from you bum. There are a lot of people who deserve to be in there, and some of them (child molesters) should be denied the right to be face to face with anyone... But what about the innocent ones, the ones who DO change in there? Should they suffer? If you keep in touch with your family only through a web cam thats you problem for being a loser... Now go back on your dating websites and stop reading about things you are to ignorant to understand.

After reading all your comments, I realized that your all a bunch of idiots who hide behind your computer and believe everything you see on T.V... Stay off the news sites and stay on your internet dating sites.. And for yous talking about our troops..Shut your mouth, because our troops fight for the right to a fair trial, the right for our freedom, and the right to have rights. You pretend to back the troops when your probably protesting them on another site... If you dont think deputies are not brining in contraband then your as stupid as your comments.

The first thing I see in these comments that is wrong, is- this is not prison this is jail- the place you are held until you are proven guilty- so don't say that these people are being punished because they will not be punished until convicted- so one could say that this will punish the family more than the one in jail- the system is set up so that when convicted of more than a year you will go to a state prison- those few who are convicted of less than 1yr will have to stay until the end of their short sentence and if they good enough a person they will work doing all the upkeep that the county can or could not afford and in most cases they will get gain-time ( time off for staying out of trouble) For me just because you are in jail does not mean that you are guilty- just that the system thinks you are or that they can convict you. Remember one day you may be behind the bars- then how would you fill!(and if you want to see how the system punishes the family just look at the DUI system- seven months ago my step son (who has no job, car, saving, etc. He is 21) borrowed our car, said he would not do any drinking but did and got caught. Here is some of what to expect $1500 bail expect to pay 10% to get out of jail the next day.
A lawyer wanted $3000 up front. We didn't need one he plead guilty. Now $1500 fine six months probation $50 each. Impound the car for 10 days automatic (He proved he did not own one before his first visit to the Probation Office so I got out of that cost ). Something new for first timers a lock out device on the car that you have to blow into before it will start. We got out of this one because of no car again, that I think would have been $600 for the device plus a monitoring fee. Then because he blew over a .9 he had to attend SWFAS DRUG program. It was $25 each class which started out at 8 days and when he got signed up the state up it to 12 weeks total $300. I think there was more but I can't remember. All these words are just to show that it Crime dose not pay for the individual or there family's.

Public schools and single mom's, breed inmates.

Public Schools + Single Mom's = Inmates...

Do the math...

This is a teacher. Hence, it's likly that your wasting time explaining to a sheep, what is against the rules think about.

Remember, they took thinking out of the schools.

It's a conflict of interest for LEO's to fight crime, and win.

Cops, kill cops, in Florida.

No honor.

Mostly terds work in the PBSO.

Bull dykes, Obama Mama's,
corrupt ex-road officers, and other freaks
of nature work the jail.

90% of all PBC drug traffic goes through PBSO.

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Sagittarius

As much as the robust Archer would like to indulge, today you must mind your health. If you go out to celebrate the holidays, go easy on the rich foods and spirits. Too much alcohol and you might find yourself saying the absolute wrong thing to the right person, thus blowing what could be a perfectly lovely evening. Strive for moderation.
