On October 06, 2009 I lost a friend. I found out about his death 6 days after he died. He died in a car accident that was bizarre. He lived in Harlem which is in Clewiston. I don't know the place well. His name was Reginald Jones and he was 19 years old at the time of his death. I met him in the fall term of 2008 at Palm Beach Community College and I was fortunate to have met him. Everyone who have met have were fortunate also. He was a great friend to have and he will be missed. To those wondering how he died. I learned he was driving home and was close by to his home when he either had an asthma attack which led to a seizure or had a seizure which he never had a seizure before and crashed his car.

The great thing about Reginald was that he LOVED God and would always tell people about God. He would even bring his bible to school to read during his free time. He was a little minister to me which I'm sure he was great at. I attended his funeral yesterday and that was definitely the best funeral I attended. He was a great person who deserved a great funeral. Just as the pastor said, "The devil has lost another one!" and that I can sure agree with. To be 19 and lived your life just the way God would have wanted. The pastor also said that " I can truly say that Reginald will be there on judgment day when God will come back for his people that followed his word and Reginald is only sleeping waiting for that day to come."

I am happy that he is not suffering anymore and he has affected so many people in different ways. I will try to live my life in the way God would have wanted. So for those of you who are reading this, try to know about God. You never know when your time will come. Learn to forgive your friends or those you are mad at or currently isn't speaking to. Who would have thought Reginald would have died? God never makes a mistake and knew exactly why he chose for Reginald to join him in Heaven. I am happy to have had a year of friend ship with him. He will truly be missed. And I know he's Resting in Peace waiting for the day when he will rise again and see the person he loved so much and was his savior..God!
