Investigators say a woman is at the center of a stabbing death in Splendora

The female involved should be sitting in jail with Jason. They both set out to harm Shawn and she is walking free and clear. Because of their selfishness and stupidity they have left 7 beautiful children without a father. They both need to rot in HELL

There was only one person set out to harm Shawn and that was Jason. I suggest before anyone makes a comment they get the whole story before posting anything! Obviously from reading wildgirls comment she doesnt know anything that happened nor does she know Shawn.

I didn't know Shawn very well but he has two kids in Lexington, Kentucky that are going to miss him dearly!!! So sad that someone had to take him away from his children at a very young age!!! R.I.P Shawn Micheal Porter...

Shawn never deserved this-due to Lindsey's selfishness he was in TX instead of KY,now his 2 kids in KY & 4 in TX will never get to know their father & he was the only father Lindsey's daughter knew as well. No need for Lindsey to expect any pity as she chose her boyfriend & drugs over her own kids & those kids should not be given back to Lindsey! With Amburn's actions to Shawn & his abusiveness he deserves no help of any kind & Lindsey you will NOT see Shawn again as everyone knows where you'll be going!!!

Until you walk in my daughters shoes, and until you know the truth by being there & seeing with your own eyes, you can not judge. My daughter took countless beatings from this animal Jason, she tried numerous times to go to the police, they could not, would not do anything untill they actually saw Jason do her harm. I have been in this state since march, I was in his home, I seen &7 heard the threats this monster made towards my daughter & son-in-law Shawn. Jason painted a "pretty picture" to my daughter when she was having trouble in her marriage, but soon as he got her in his web, his true colors came out. He often told her he would hurt the 6 things that ment the most to her, Shawn & the kids. He is the one who had the kids taken away, not Shawn & Lin. He beat her time & time again, she endured these beatings, that was her way she thought of protecting her family. Being from the same kind of abusive relationship from my past, I understand,Jason had a hold on her, he wanted her to himself & he done whatever it took to rid her family from her, he tried to threaten me with his "thugs", but I did'nt back out, he did'nt scare me. Point being, Shawn loved Lindsey, & Lindsey loved Shawn, everyone knew this,so until you know all the facts of what was really going on, look into your own lives,we are not perfect, we all make mistakes, some more tragic than others. Jason will live out his days in prison with no remorse, no guilt, my daughter will live the rest of her days with the guilt, everytime she looks into the faces of my grandbabies, she will be reminded of the terrible day. I stand beside my daughter, I stand beside Shawns family, yes we are full of "whys", & "what if's", but we hold no hatered, no blame, you see, if Shawns own mother can forgive, then why can't you?. I love Shawn dearly, & I will miss him,but I will keep him alive in my heart & each time I look at my grandkids, he will be with me still. So I ask that you all look into a mirror, & when you can say you are perfect, then you can stand & judge. GOD does not judge, he forgives, he loves, & I know he still loves my daughter, as does Shawn, & her family.

I am proud of you for standing by your sister the way you are, as I have told Lin, the world is full of cruel people, they go only on speculation, word of mouth, and what they see in print or on t.v. We know the truth, the truth is that Shawn loved lindsey, & Lindsey loved Shawn, they knew each other better than they knew themselves, we are a family, families stick together through good & bad times. Those people are just merely words, they no nothing of the truth, of what was really happening, we do... That is what's wrong in our world today, everyone goes on speculations,it's easier that way, it's easier to spit barbs at someone else, but they forget to look in the mirror at themselves. Words are just that, just words, & bruises are painful, they slowly go away, but guilt never does, & your sister will have that for the rest of her life, but she will also have the love & support from her family as well as from Shawns family. Let the people have their words, we have the truth, we have the facts, we still have Shawn in our hearts & in his children, they only have words...

First off let me say to all of those mouring the loss of shawn my heart goes out to you and his 7 kids, I did not know shawn but he sounds like a wonderful man, My husband and I were frineds of Jason, I know for a fact that Lindsey was running between the two men, stringing both jason and shawn along for the ride, SHE WAS WRONG, I am not saying what jason did was not wrong, He should be punished with the maximun penalty for taking a father away from his children, but lets not forget that now 2 different families have lost a son, brother, cousin, uncle and father. if Lindsey was such a "loving wife" then why were you living w/ Jason, if your so concerned about your kids then why were they left ALONE SEVERAL times & the neighbors reported it, they were taken away because she is selfish & those kids deserve a GOOD MOTHER!!! firs of all i want to say Shawn Porter was a good friend. of mine we had many good times. in that time i got hang with his kids the 5 he had in houston he talked about the 2 in KY.i wish i could have met them too. But i know for a fact he really loved the kids.I'm gona miss the times we had him and his kids over for dinner. and sorry for the loss to the Porters your son was a real farther and true friend he is gona be missed by my family and me so. hopefully to meet yall soon I'm talking about the Porters in KY. today is a great day...i am lucky to have an amazing man in my life who adores me and only me, 5 equally beautiful kids, 2 sweet kids that belong to jason, and tons of family and friends!! speed bumps in life come and go...we learn from them and deal with it. ♥
