Sooo true. I moved to NC from Man,WV 19 years ago and them mountains are still home, although tears were in my eyes last visit to see them going topless. Yet, there's no place like home.

I am from Oceana as well, and now live in Tyro

I'm not from WVA but lived in WVA, Webster County, little place called Diana and Logan County. I have a son in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren from the Bradshaw, McDowell County, area and my wife's uncle lived at Welch, had a market there. He was a Lambert. We are from over in Tazewell County, Virginia. I also have kin in Kanawha, Mason, and Lincoln Counties. My ancestors settled in WVA in 1798 when it was still VA.
