Thank you for this retelling of the past misadventures of the Board. It just proves further that power corrupts and the need for such an entity micromanaging people and their real estate is not necessary and a waste of our money.

It is nice to see how Mike Wilhelm interprets my term of course he is only going over half the story and putting a spin on it to what he wants people to beleive in the half truth, and not the whole truth. Guys like Mike sit down have a beer and tell the rest of the world what things were from five years ago and what they should be tomorrow. Well Mike I'm running for the Board of directors to give you nore things to talk about. Like your lack of a spine. Why don't you run an get involved.

Were are the other letters to the Editor from this week? The only letters that appear are the Inspections and the NCPA letter.

There have been only been two letters from the editor this past week being posted. The NCPA, and Boat inspections? Were are the rest of the letters to the editor from this week? Are they being suppressed?

I am glad that Mike Wilhelm had wrote a letter on how dysfunctional the Clear Lake Riviera Community Association was five years ago. In the Clear Lake Riviera we have in the vicinity of 30 deputized police officers in the community. You pay for them with your tax dollars. Well security ended five years ago. You can come out from your bed;there is no boogie man. Let's talk about land. For nearly 40 years, every board had tossed back at them "Not In My Back Yard." We Sold It. We put in the parking lot instead of parking on dirt for nearly forty years, and bought the land adjacent to the community association. Now the County is putting a park in at the Riviera Elementary School with your tax dollars. After only five years. The latest boogie man is road repairs in the Riviera. This is were the county is attempting to use the association as a surrogate government. I attended the meeting on April 8. I heard thethe story excuses, excuses , excuses. You pay taxes and these are public roads. This whole charade about not doing anything and hustling this community for road repair funds. It sets a dangerous precedance. It is another brick for empire building, and lack of accountibility. With the combined association dues of $86 dollars a year and road work $154 dollars anually, or $20 a month you should keep. You should not be threatened if you do not give it away. We pay taxes. I do not see excuses when I send them the money. I am running for the board with the intent of having a vote to shut down the Clear Lake Riviera Home Owners Association. This is removing a surrogate government that our elected officials are attempting to use to pick up the tab for them not spending our money on are community. Their greatest fear is that they can not pass the buck. It is true downsizing of government. It makes the elected officials think. Tony Gniadek Kelseyville

The Lake County Record Bee appears to be suppressing letters to the editor from reaching forums and polls. I guess its their policy.

I never found out who cut down the postal box in front of my folks rental in CLR. Then Sid and Wendy Donnal became their new friends and i noticed some extreamly strange events ocure. I don't trust S & W what so ever. Vote Tony in

I second that motion! Vote for Tony Gniadek on June 28th 2008. It's our only chance to break up the monopoly stranglehold that Alan Siegel and Sid Donnel have on the CLRCA. Once, a long time ago, I am sure it was truly a community neighborhood association.
