As long as you dont live in one of the Subdivisions that has an HOA. they take your money and dont do anything but write you letters about your trash can left by the street to long.

There is no way on earth I would live where there is a Homeowners Association. I LOVE my 1920 bungalow and my great neighbors who don't have a stick up their butt about silly things such as a trash can. Our town doesn't allow old junk cars to sit around and they keep an eye on ugly stuff, but NOTHING like an HOA.

i drive thru princeton daily. I think it looks old run down and trashy. Ive known several people whom lived there and ran away as quickly as possible because of the rough crowd of people and drugs.

why? Didnt know it was a test. I was leaving my opinion, and can do so however i see fit. Didnt know it was going to be checked by a English teacher. And why would i want to slow down in a trashy drug infested town? like id learn anything there. |

I live in Princeton and it is a really nice place to live. Sure there are a few druggies. McKinney has a lot more people that do drugs as do most other larger cities like Dallas, Garland, Mesquite, etc. Princeton has a good school program too. One of the math teachers at the High School has been placed within the top 25 High School mathematics teachers. As he would proudly say "I'm the only one that can get you a five (the best score one can make on an AP test), these other losers can get you ones and twos, maybe a three, but I'm the only one that can get you a five)

nope im just some backwards redneck, why the personal attacks....no life....spaced out on drugs????? i didnt attack you, just stated my opinion of a town i drive thru daily. if you like princeton so much why dont you pick up some of the trash around the town and people will quit calling it trashy.....seriously it looks like south dallas on a good day. as for the druggies it seems worse because there is less population than say mckinney. lot easier to get away from it when its more dispersed. and by the way i had a 3.9 gpa in school....so yes ive learned a lot. like how to keep away from trashy towns. |

It's your ISP server location. Princeton's cool. It does have some little trashy areas right in the middle of town, like any city will. Get out in the outskirts, and there's some beautiful properties out there. Hopefully, I've passed the grammar inspection ;-) |

referring to the first post by HOA hater...
I have a good friend who did landscaping work for Princeton Meadows HOA and they owe him over $5000.00. The HOA can harass you about trash cans, basketball goals, length of your grass and put liens on your house if you fail to comply or miss paying your dues. Why is it that when we pay dues they dont pay THEIR bills!? |

I live in the community and it is a joke. The HOA ran the community in the ground. Now their OOB and we have a new company running things. We'll see how it goes.
As for Princeton....I can't disagree with the way the downtown area looks....however...I've live in a lot of places and i find it laughable that people are arguing over which town are over-run with drugs. Drugs are EVERYWHERE!!!! Open you eyes!!! |

OOB=Out of business - don't worry I did keep driving. All the way to Farmersville, a better life for my family, prettier surroundings, better security from the scum hanging out at Allsup's.
