There is a special place for these people. I hope they get what they deserve in prison. How can you mistreat defensless children that way? Starving them and... Ohh all the horrible things. I will pray for them and their safety and triumph through this hard time as everyone else should. These monsters have probably ruined their lives. They were deprived the happy care free child hood that all children deserve!

you can tell by looking at them that these hogs never missed a meal. plenty of fat back & jowls hanging on them. i will never understand how someone can abuse a child & obviously there was plenty of food in that house. they didn't have to starve them.

You know what, I don't believe half of what these kids are saying. These people have been fostering and adopting kids for years, and all the sudden they go psycho on these two kids?
And the methods of abuse...Thats sounds like something out of a Stephen King book...Not reality.
I'm going to have to see how this plays out in court. Maybe they are psychos, but I think there is also the possibilty the kids are too.
Your absolutly right...deff. does not add up. Girls must be mad at them,or want attention, and their setting in jail for something they didn't do.

Like the 3 lying girls in the Salem witch trails.

Evidently there is enough evidence to refuse lowering the bonds on any of these family members. In fact, somehow they're facing more than 150 charges in the case. How in the world can they come up with that many charges if they have nothing to go on? And this Lori Sharpe gal says she knows for certain that nothing happened inside the Perry home to these two children. How does she know for certain? Is she covering for these so called "honest Christian people"? She states that there is no evidence out there to substantiate any claim that they're guilty. Well, obviously, there is some kind of evidence for them to be charged with 150 counts. And from what we're being told, this abuse has been going on for 3 years. The state is claiming that the girls have been left disfigured and scarred. Who brought this abuse to the attention of law enforcement? Someone must have had some kind of concerns for some reason to report this abuse.

In the news story about the Perry's being denied a reduced bond amount, this needs to be corrected. They were awarded a reduced bond of $250,000 a piece, down from the $350,000 sought by the D. A. They are still in jail waiting for the judge to ok the bonds company to continue to cover their bond.

I appreciate you spelling my name correctly. Actually, the case is simple. These girls were removed from a drug home when they were about 3 and 5 years of age. There are two older sisters as well. The oldest didn't want to be adopted and chose to live with the foster mom. The other older sister was removed from the Perry's home a few weeks after being placed there, because she chased her two siters around the house with a knife and the police were called. The girls were from Chattanooga and there mom and sisters are still there. They spoke of nothing but going home to get their mom out of the projects and be a family again. The only thing the DA has is black and white photos of old scars they had prior to being adopted, and the girls testimony. Answer this question. Why were they able to raise 2 birth children, and 5 adoptive children from infancy and be a foster family in the state receiving multiple references as wonderful foster parents without question or problem if they were monsters? Over 100 people have spoken out in their behalf to say nothing bad about them. They don't even have a speeding ticket. This IS a witch hunt. DCS messed up big time, and the only way to get everything off of the dept shoulders is to lie, And anyone knows that each lie to cover up the first one gets bigger each time. The kids were originally taken out of the home because their basement flooded and they were charged with environmental neglect. My how the lies have grown!

Jumper cables? How exactly does that work? I have grabbed them several times and have never been shocked. Where are the handcuffs in question? I am sorry but I am not sure the "victims" in this case are the kids. Maybe I am wrong but something just doesnt add up.

Please make sure that you pray that God will open your eyes to the truth. These girls were not stupid and knew what they were doing. The Perry's did nothing but try to give those girls a loving home. Please don't instantly assume that every child that cries wolf is being truthful. I will pray for you.

Shame on you for speaking ill of someone you don't even know. Those girls were well fed, and the doctor that examined them upon removal from the home found nothing wrong with them. I'm sure many people on this board aren't skinny, but does that mean they starve their kids?

What makes you fit to judge them? Do you have any prior record? Do you have any prior speeding tickets? Have you ever shoplifted or cursed at someone? Well they haven't. They have NO record whatsoever. Before you call someone precious like there three human beings trash, take a look in your own closet. He who is without sin, throw the first stone. On the other side, do you volunteer your time to work on costumes for church plays? Do you cook food for church dinners and help clean up after? Do you foster children in your home giving them the love they desperately need to thrive? They have. They give of themselves to all that ask for help. They are not selfish in anything they have. They would give the shirt off their backs if even you needed it. I hope you remember this when they are exonorated.

I'm with JWOL, sometimes kids do lie and make up stories. It happens all the time. Girls hollow rape, ruin a man's life then only to say they lied. The damage was already done and when any adult is accused it does ruin their life. It is their word against a child. We ALL want to believe in our children, and ANY person who really hurts a child should be punished as hard as they can be. But until they have real hard evidents and it can be proved, I will wait and see. I have a friend who has a cousin who several years ago was dating a woman who had a 5 year old daughter. They broke uo and the woman was mad as she could be. She coxed the little girl into saying this man had touched her. The man was arrested and put under a hugh bond. People hated him, he lost his job, losted everything. The woman was happy as she could be, she had showed him. But she got careless and bragged about what she had done, stting him up, putting the little girl up to telling the story, a friend to both of them had taped her. The man swore he never touched the little girl, but no one would believe him. Well the long story was his life was ruined, but proven he didn't do it, but he lost everything. The mother was arrested, but she walked away with a little fine and was put on probation. A way to show how sad it is here in our country that women aren't treated as harsh as males are. She should have been the one who lost her child and she should have gone to prison, or even better made her butts worked and had to pay him back every dime+more for what he lost, and still losed her daughter. If these people are proven they did this, they should go to jail. But as time have shown there are times when things aren't always as they seem.

I know more about the case than you think I do. I have worked in local law enforcement for more than 31 years and still do. Therefore, I am not a thug, am not a thief, and no, I don't run around cursing everybody. I do volunteer my time for others too. I hosted a United Way function in Nashville some years back and I currently donate yearly and generously to make sure that a lot of "children of prisoners" get toys they would not otherwise be able to get. Its not even about all of that though. A non existant record and volunteering does not mean a person can't be guilty of a crime. I will not get into specifics, but one key for you to remember here is that the judge refused to lower the bonds. I will be the first one to apologize if they are found not guilty. I really feel thats not likely to happen however.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Some people are just in denial and blind about certain issues and I think this is one of those times. Lori Sharpe is a perfect example of that.

The thing about all this is that someone is lying. Why not give the adults a lie det. test and if they should pass it, then give the girls one. I hope what the girls said happened to them didn't. No child should ever go through that stuff. But if it isn't true then that means that the girls have other issues. I don't know which would be worst for them. 12 and 13 year old teens have so many things they have to deal with, and at that age life is very hard. I don't know either the kids or the foster parents, but this is a very sad story. Kids now days grow up very fast. We all have heard so many stories where very young kids are doing crimes we never heard of at our age. If it is proven that the girls are being truthful then I hope the foster parents are punished to the full extent of the law. I feel sad that I just don't know if these girls are lying or telling the truth. I've seen a man's life ruined when a 5 yr. old lied and told what the mom told her to. I knew both adults and liked both of them. It was hard for me to believe that the man did what he was accused of, but I never thought that a 5 yr. old would lie, or better yet, I never thought the mom would put the 5 yr. old up to lie. I never blamed the child, but this ruined a man's life. So I have always been very careful to not judge to fast unless they can prove it.

However, this doesn't mean you can take foolish risks in the hope that things will work out all right because there's no guaranteeing that they'll do so automatically.
