This is so heartbreaking. I have a 17 month old and I cannot imagine how heart broken, and devasted the Mancuso family is. How many more children have to be abused or killed? What is wrong with people? Our only hope & peace & JUSTICE is through our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ!!! This life is only temporary, and I know that Precious Anna is with Jesus for Eternity. May God Bless the Mancuso family. We will continue to pray for you.
In Chirsts Love!

I think that Sherry should be held responsible for the death of this little girl. Obviously she was an ufit caregiver to the children and did not pay attention to what was going on. If the child was left unattended that is another reason she was wrong. Also, shouldn't she have been trained on how to stop a choking child since she is the owner of the daycare. I think in this situation the Clarksville judicial system has failed all parents with childen in daycare. I hope this does not show all daycare owners it is ok to be neglegent to the attendees of their centers. My sympathy for the family and apologizies no justice was served. You are definitely in my prayers!

Go to the Leaf Chronicle website to view the Mancuso Family's statement. It is located with the "Woman cleared in child's death" article.

For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting the Mancuso's, they are some of the most kind, thoughtful, caring and compassionate people I know. Their strength is beyond my comprehension. These are the kind of people who, despite losing their precious angel, continue to put other's before themselves and constantly treat everyone they encounter with kindness and respect. Angela and Frank, we will NEVER forget our precious Baby Anna. She is still a significant part of our lives and always will be. She will always be "Line-Line's" first best friend! I am so honored to know you and love you both.

I commend NewsChannel 5 for choosing to report on this tragedy. If one child can be saved from harm by the Mancuso's sharing their story then maybe this might somehow help in their pain.

I am outraged by this. What judge in his right mind would let this go? A precious, innocent baby girl is no longer here due to that woman's neglect. You know, a person can get into more trouble by neglecting/killing an animal than a child. That is sickening. I hope Anna's little life meant more to the courts that an animal, but it doesn't seem that way.

Absolutely appoling!!!!!! This family is dealing with a tragic loss, and now the charges are dropped. What has this world come to? This woman has had many problems in the past. Just amazes me what our court system will and will not prosecute. To the family, I am truly sorry for your loss, you are in my prayers.

Do you people not know DA's and the law are on a mission right now to lock up more men than women? Look at the laws, they are specifically designed to be mostly against men. This is why there are more men in jails and prisons than women.

One small fact that the news didn't report, probably because they were not aware ~ DA BIEBER'S CHILDREN ATTENDED MS. SHERRY'S DAYCARE. If that's not a conflict of interest, I don't know what is?? This case needs to get out of Clarksville!

The charges are being dropped because she is a woman and her connection to people in positions of power/ authority. If this were am na, especially here in Nashville, he would have been locked and possibly executed here.

She shouldn't be allowed to wastch ANY children anywhere.

I think someone needs to work harder at finding evidence to be able to charge her with something.

DCS and DHS are both jokes. I can tell you this,as a man who was abused, tortured and, raped in one of "Tennessee's best foster homes", they have lots of skeletons in their closet

I am appauled at the outcome of this situation. I have lost all due respect for the judicial system and the Dept. of Children's Services.
I thought DCS was suppose to be for the "children" not the providers!!!!!!!
All I can say is what goes around comes around...she will pay eventually, one way or another.
