Are any other Arkansasans bothered by the state website's (Arkansas.gov ) lack of info on weather related road closures? Even a message board based on member submitted content would be an asset. Unless one listens to their region's 911 radio channels there's not much in the way of timely info- and often this doesn't offer much info for travel beyond one's listening area. Comments? Suggestions? Thanks!

Anybody out there on the river? USGS website shows the river at Hardy crested this morning about 7am at a little over 22 ft. Some news reports, however are saying the crest won't happen until tomorrow & will be 25-29 ft. What do those of you who are there say? Is the river dropping yet? Is it still raining?

It is no longer raining, sun is supposed to peek out today.Reports of the Spring river were it reached 21.1ft.Hopefully it is receding, hadnt heard. The over flowing creeks feeding the spring are resciding 4 sure.Seems "Baxter Co. was hardest hit, lots of resucues of peoples on there roofs, that live near the "Norfork river.Local reports here were People on the banks of the spring river in M.S. evacuated before night fall yesterday.

From what I am hearing some people there evacuated yesterday.Hardy has problems with flooding so it cant be good where u are asking.Maybe the news Channel in Jonesboro Ar. may be helpful to u around here if we want to know we have to take a drive. If u have people in that area u may wanna check on them.Especially if they are elderly.God speed....

No one will volunteer and we are all so spread out it is difficult. You could call the local City halls and sheriffs dept.they are the most informed around here.

It seems people dont seem to mind being in the dark about things around here.I guess "ignorance is bliss".The sun did peak out today late afternoon.I took a drive to town M.S.took pictures of the Spring river I noticed the river widened in certain areas the topography & or erosion dictated where that would occur.Cold Sorings corner parking lot was under water. Some people suffered losses, hopefully no one was hurt.Big creek had gone down, that is one "crazy creek, when it rains hard ,all the little creeks dump into it.

I live in Hardy. Our home is safe since we live on very high ground above town. Our road, however, has been washed out, and we are homebound because we don't have 4x4 vehicle yet. No one has been injured here. One man, who went back home AFTER evacuation, had to be rescued by boat, but is fine. Over 100 homes were flooded out, all down near the river/downtown, including town hall! They evacuated the records. Although waters are receding a little, crest has not been reached. Today it's gorgeous, weather wise. Clear, sunny, about 64. If you need other info, please ask.

No one is in charge of the weather that is the problem. No one will step up to the plate and give there first AND last name like you so maybe U could take over reportin the weather.Cause we are on a need to know basis here and need all the help we can git.As far as the drug trade I know nothing bout it.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Sagittarius

You're in the mood to spend today, especially on the spur of the moment. Be careful if you can't afford to make any impulse purchases, because a lack of cash won't stop you! If you do decide to splash out on something, you may be disappointed when you get it home and you might even decide to take it back.
