Their was a story a few years ago which I witnessed this guy commenting negatively but truthfully about a certain official. The Guys comments were met with some very nasty responses, as expected... HOWEVER, the webmaster at WBOY inserted a comment before this guys, his was the first! The comment that was added in advance of the comment string just happened to be made by a staunch supporter of this official... I witnessed this, so I realize you have to take my word at this point... but that is not freedom of speach, it is propaganda.

I never get overly motivated to fight the power.....but in this case I told WBOY to do something and after I started a campain to harrass thier advertisers, by god they did it! victory for the people. We have spoken. some stories don't have a place to comment anymore, but others still have the same junk.

Bray is so busy these days closing down his Huntington station and causing 25 employees to lose their jobs while he moves what remaining employees to his new world headquarters in Charleston. Does he even know what a joke he is in business community and advertisers won't advertise with his stations until they are sold to a company that cares about employees.

Is this the reason way WBOY stopped posting comment section on many of their posts? I used to browse through their comments on random articles and I have to say, a lot of people on there got out of hand with their posts. I was surprised that they did not filter their comments better for many of them.

Sorry, but I think people should be able to express their opinions on the local news sites. Its bad enough that they only allow comments on select stories since an update to the site last year. As far as this topic goes, I feel for the family of the officer. However, if people of the area are that callus against the police, perhaps the police should reflect upon their actions and ask themselves 'why'. If opposing views bother you that much, you can always read local news from wdtv, who never allows comments. Oathkeepers(dot)org

Has WBOY told their advertisers that they are no longer in DISH ? These advertisers are not reaching the viewers they think they are. I miss NBC programs, but not WBOY news. Nobody watches their news anyways.

I've been watching WDTV news and have started to like it. After watching WBOY news for 25 plus years, I am now staying with WDTV. WBOY and the company that owns it wants money from DISH for carrying their channel. But now that everyone is switching over to WDTV for news, the pennies that WBOY is fighting DISH for will be nothing since tney will be losing much more from advertising reveunue when the viewers they have lost do not come back to WBOY.

All of the WV Media stations in the state are so terrible. Its is sort of sad that a WV owned company can't even gets its own citizens to watch their news. But I am one of those viewers who can't stand their news people. They are the worst I have never seen.

I have attended banquets and forums where everyone at the table laughs at him every time he opens his mouth.

Shame on Channel 5 wDTV on their story of poor Grandparents . They can't see their babies. Well instead on Drama Tv , try WV Code 48; Article 10. Oh yes Grandparents can see their babies! Wrong WDTV ..stop trying to drum up drama. News should be held more responsible. Now a whole bunch of Grandparents THINK they can't see their kids because of WVDRAMA 5 SAID they can't see their kid. WV Code 48 says we can!!!!!!!!!! Oh , there is a joke that Grandparents should have had their grandchildren first. Think on that Nate Smale
