You can't be a democrat, and always wanna kiss the gop's a$$! Why don't you grow a pair and revile yourself for what you truely are, a republican in disguise.

He uses the excuse of we have to save jobs for WV. But the only jobs he seems to want to save are coal mining jobs at the cost of the enviroment and or safety. What good are jobs if the poluters are causing birth defects, cancer, and respiratory problems for the citizens? But Ol' Blue Dog Joe probably would spin that "when those people die then their jobs will be open and more people can have jobs. And if they die then "they would have died if they didn't have a job".

Joe... you are an idiot and a Republican bootlicker.

In my opinion coal is MUCH safer than the Marcellus drilling going on in our state. Does anyone really know the toxic cocktail being pumped into the ground in our state? Water is being removed from the rivers and streams in our state. Many times late at night the water trucks are seen at these sites. Are they pumping water or are they releasing water with chemicals? Does anyone really know or do the officials care, since the economy has done well with the influx of the Texans and out of state workers? Has the well drilling really brought jobs to our state? A well site is in my area and I have yet to see WV plates on the vehicles. Even the pilot cars were from out of state. The roads are in horrible condition due to the massive size equipment being brought into the sites. Who is going to pay for the repairs to our roads? The well sites have ruined land that was once scenic. Sure some are getting wealthy but at what cost???
I will continue to support the coal industry in WV.
It is the unknown in the gas drilling industry, the toxic chemicals used, the fear of water contamination that scares me.

Manchin doesn't care. He claims it is about Jobs but it is about his buddies and masters making moolah. Manchins nickname now is The Fabulous Moolah.
