Law Enforcement in Polk County, NE

Its my opinion the law enforcement in Polk County NE is pathetic. There is only one deputy that is employed there that actually does his job. All one has to do is look at the stats. Ever since the most recent administration has taken over the stats are horrible and the employees that have been hired are pathetic. The knowledge and experience of the administrators his almost laughable because it is so minimal. I think its time someone looked into the pathetic stats, high employee turnover rate, the hypocrisy and ignorance of the so-called administrators. If anyone employed with Polk County, NE reads this, you should tell the Sheriff to read the guidelines from NACO when it comes to conduct and what is expected.

Yea and why Mr. Deputy are you posting this? You think you are better than the rest of us? You think you are the only one who does your Job?

maybe we can end this griping with some hard
facts?

like just that, bickering.

Here are some facts according to the Crime Commission website under the Traffic Stop Report Data for Polk County.

In 2005 there were 1670 traffic stops conducted, 779 citations issued and 53 custodial arrests made.
In 2007 there were 582 traffic stops conducted, 151 citations issued and 10 custodial arrests made.

Difference= 1088 less traffic stops
628 less citations issued
43 less arrests made

Need one say anymore about productivity.
