Clarkrange Garage..Nick is the mechanic

There's a guy named Coy Templeton (Jr. maybe) in the Clarkrange area who has done quite a bit of work on our vehicles over the past couple of years. He is off the Martha Washington road and always has quite a few cars in his yard to be fixed. He was recommended to us by a friend who is also a mechanic and we were told that Coy does all the work on our friend's vehicles that he can't do himself. We've taken vehicles to him when other shops couldn't find out what was wrong. He works slowly, is relatively young and has a laid back personality but we have found it worth the wait because he knows what he is doing. We have yet to get a vehicle back from him that he has fixed and not been satisfied. If he can't find out what is wrong with your vehicle and fix it he will tell you and not charge you some outrageous fee. We have found him to be honest and very knowledgeable. His shop is beside his home so he does not have a lot of overhead which enables him to have reasonable prices. We strongly recommend him! |

There's a great garage in Clarkrange. . . Dana, Keith and Michael really know what they're doing. It's across for the trash center in Grimsley

I don' know a good garage, but if you have a ping in your windshield there is a guy in the end of the building at Clarkrange Florist that fixed my husbands windshield where a rock hit it and did a very good job.he also detailed our car and truck and it was the best job wqe had ever had done.He shi8ned the wheels til you could see yourself in them.Hew is very reasonable . He told what it would be soon as ask him about it.He charged acording to the size of vechile.

Well, I think if you're needing one in the Jamestown area, you're out of luck. Clarence, over on the Fair Grounds Road, I think the garage is Potters, but anyway.....Clarence runs it. They're probably the best in Jamestown, but that's not saying much. I've taken my vehicles to them for years, only because there's no one any better. They've screwed up several things, and every time that I've gone to them in the past 3 years, I've had to take the vehicle BACK, because they screw something up. But I can say one thing.......They stand behind their work! They'll guarantee it! You may have to take it back 2 or 3 times before they get it right, but you only pay for the first time.
If you're needing something minor, I would highly recommend Pit Row! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They're the greatest! I wish they did major vehicle work! |

We have taken our vehicles to Homer Bowden's several times in the past. He always managed to take care of the problem.
And at East Jamestown Auto sales...you do get friendly service...they have helped me many a time with my vehicles. We even bought a truck off of them once...worked great considering my husband drove it back and forth to livingston everyday. He just sold it a few months ago when we aquired our father-n-laws truck when he passed away. |

1 Yes I agree Tim is a good mechanic but he lost the only mechanic he EVER had that has ben ASE certified and currently up to date on modern cars. So in my opinion ( and the mechanic he lost STILL does all my work ) Homer should have kept him. |

1 He gets my family's business because he has always been very honest and good. He stands behind his work (and that's pretty brave when you work on brakes in these hills)! |

If this guy is so good, where is his shop? Is he expensive? |

I send my vehicles to The Shop in Clarkrange. It is located on 62W past the post office. It is owned by Mike and Penny Hannah. They have really done good by my family and me. We all take our vehicles there. You should try them out. They give qoutes when possible.
