Yep, we knew when the consolidation started that it was the end of our town. It's sad because so many people love Holly Grove and other dying communities in the Delta. I just don't see how you will ever get everyone to move cuz you won't, but children growing up and moving away has been the norm even before consolidation. What other options do they have??? I just feel sorry for the younger generation that does get out. Thank you government for destroying the small towns that were actually the true heart of Arkansas.

It should have said doesn't get out.

One thing is certain, HG will never be forgotten because there are too many people that love it. We will tell stories and share memories, so HG will always live in our hearts!

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Aquarius

Yesterday you had a good control over the workings of your mind, but sadly that isn't the case today. Instead, your thoughts are wandering in every direction except the one you need to concentrate on. The result will be a sense of being disconnected from what's going on around you and possibly even a dreamlike quality to the day. Don't make any decisions while you're like this.
