I thought robbing banks was a federal offense, therefore the FBI have to be involved....
FYI....When it comes to bank robbers, the city or state law enforcement agency that apprehends a bank robber puts the suspect in jail on a state charge of Armed Robbery. The Federal grand jury will then indict the suspect, on the Federal bank robbery charge, then the state charge gets dismissed and the Federal prosecution begins. That is the process.....

Good job Scotty! Tell 'em you're coming and hell's coming with you!!
What a catch......a really dumb bank robber in a purple car that everyone in northeastern Oklahoma is looking for. Comparing Scott Walton to "Wyatt Earp" is like comparing a new born kitten to a mountain lion. Walton has no roar......at least for the time he has been in office....Still waiting for his campaign promises to be kept.

Our sheriff has the ability to be sneaky.....After all, he doesn't wear a uniform, or have anything on him that would identify him as a law enforcement officer. And...he drives a plain white pickup truck, with blacked out windows, which also doesn't identify him as a law enforcement officer. So he was the perfect guy for the job!! Sit in the parking lot and let the real officers/deputies/agents take this guy down. Our sheriff seems to have turned himself into an "Andy Griffith" of sorts with no gun. But wait...."Andy" at least had a uniform and badge!!
guess what stupid? Thats what they done, waited! Theres an idiot born everyday I swear. You'll complain until because of Scotts experience your ass is saved, or you need help protected your family. but you may even be the bad guy, and if so then what are you complaining about. Too bad your not able to read SOP for law enforcement so instead of sounding stupid you would have some incite to protocol and support instead of complain,

Just keep the s.o.b. away from my family...and my ass....and I'll not complain. And no, I have no criminal record.........yet.

"Guess what stupid? Thats what they done..." "....or you need help protected your family......" "....you would have some incite..." Now that is a really educated manner to respond to something. You would think you might proof read your comments so it does not make it appear you spent three years in the fourth grade. And.....Mr. Walton's experience won't save my ass...his experience didn't save me during the 27 years that I worked with him on the TPD so why would it do it now? My family is in good hands....and I know Standard Operating Procedure very well in law enforcement situations. Glad the bank robber got caught.....Glad no one got hurt.
You must know him

You must know our sheriff too.....You don't have to worry about him being close to you...unless you are in his office, or in his pickup truck. He darn sure isn't responding to any calls for service like the rest of the deputies do. The last time he saved someone was when he retired from the TPD. Now someone in his old squad might get a backer.....because Mr. Walton sure wasn't there!

At some point today you'll enjoy working on a pastime or getting together with a group of kindred spirits. This will help you to relax and remind you that there's much more to life than mundane chores and a need to pay the bills. A friend is full of quiet commonsense that's well worth listening to, even if it won't set the world alight.
