Honestly, the whole family sounds messed up. The grandmother calls 911 to say that her car had the smell of death in it when she picked it up from the impound lot....then she says that it was rotting food and not death. They say Caylee might be dead, and then the Grandmother and Grandfather say the child isn't dead, and they know she's alive and well. I hope that Caylee is found safe and sound...and I hope that the whole family receives some much needed counseling. They could sure use it. Life isn't supposed to contain this much drama.

I have a sister and niece like Casey and Cindy Anthony. It's so aggravating because you don't know what's true and what's not and usually, it centers around selfishness, no matter the cost to their children or other family members.

Maybe the grandmother can't keep her story straight about the inconsistencies with her interviews versus the tapes because she herself had to spin so many lies to trick her daughter into the truth. I don't know, but I do know that people like Casey are extremely difficult to deal with and it's a shame that her rights appear to be more important than her little baby.

I say burn Casey slowly with a cigarette...little at a time and force her to the truth. Prez Bush says we can torture, I say we start with this lying SOb poor exuse of a mother.

Arrest the entire family. No bond until they talk. If the little girl is dead execute each and every one of them without delay.

Oh boy, another thread on this topic so all the Internet Detectives can solve the case using Google and watching TV. Why don't you get your lazy butts out in the woods and look for this little girl?

I have spent alot of time following this case...my OPINION is:
1. Casey is a habitual liar, irresponsible, spoiled brat and a thief.
2. Her parents have enabled her to be all of the above.(What do you mean you THOUGHT your daughter was working? You gave her a home, food, car without requiring so much as 50 bucks a week to teach her responsibility?)
3. Caylee has moved on to another place.
4. Casey is involved. I suspect boyfriend (ex-cop) is involved.
5. I believe Cindy knew the baby was missing a month ago.

I believe mother should stay in jail and grandmother should join her for endangering a child. Had she called for help a month ago perhaps the outcome would have been different.....

Casey is a filthy liar. Listening to these phone tapes, she knows her child is dead and she's the one who killed her. She's unemotional because she's on the self-preservation mode and pretending to actually believe her own lies. Sick individual....wouldn't classify her as human. They'll probably never find that poor little girl. Best thing is for that piece of maggot trash to kill herself. I would love it if we could bury her ALIVE.

I don't need to be an "internet detective" to be a bit skeptical about an imaginary babysitter. Funny she had this sitter for over a year, and lived with her parents... and yet the parents, best friend, boyfriend etc. have never seen or heard of this person.

...and to give you the benefit of the doubt that there is such a person and the baby is alive. Means that Casey has a debt, sold the kid or something else that the sitter is not giving the kid back and Casey refused to go to the police for a month.

Listening to the brother, he seems like the only one who is truly tired of Casey's b.s.
