Puhleeaaaseee...it doesn't matter where you are in the County, you can become a victim of a crime. Who said any of these people live in Citrus Heights? Everyone and their uncle drive through on Greenback. Oh and if you think 10yrs as a city is recent then you are much older than you sound and should be much wiser.
Though I agree you can be a victim of crime anywhere within Sacramento, some areas are worse then others. In my opinion, you are probably more likely to be the victim of a violent crime or a property crime in South Sac then you are in the City of Folsom. Some areas just have more crime.

The problem is, Citrus Heights is a white trash pit, he's right.

I think what we are witnessing is a decline in the Sacramento region as a whole. It started in the City proper and now it is spreading outwards. So far the worse is happening in Sacramento County but it will soon spread to Placer, El Dorado, etc. Just give it time.
The real decline of the whole valley started when the housing market was at it's highest and a lot of bay area ghetto transplants sold their houses for small fortunes or qualified for new ones-because they were handing out loans like candy...that's when it REALLY started...and all the rich brats cause trouble...

The younger generation is of poor quality, they have no fear and no respect for ANYONE!

I used to live right by there and what's sad about Citrus Heights is that it SHOULDN'T be so crime-infested and ghetto, but it is. Are people really so bored in California that carrying weapons and starting fights is the only way to get through the day? People sadden me.
It's the Ghetto Culture that's how they do it.

i can't believe all of the sh*t talking and finger pointing that is going on over this terrible incident, and I'm glad that its so funny to all of the people that are making jokes about it, but its not that funny to me cause i have never seen anyone shot before and it scared the sh*t out of me the other night when my husband and i were getting out of or car to go in to donut king and this guy pulls up behind us bleeding and asking for help with is friend slumped over dying in the passnger seat of his car and i'm sure it wasn't very funny to them either! wow we are all becoming way to desensitized

Thank you for your intelligent insight on this topic. I'm relieved we still have smart individuals such as yourself in our community.

Did you really just write "averybody" to spell "everybody" and "yourwe" to spell "your"? I hope you were just playing around, otherwise you are a poor example of our educational system.

Well, actually, one of the victims is my cousin. The quote "live by the sword, die by the sword" that someone made earlier is true. Once his name has been released google him. You will find out that he was acquitted in a homicide a few years ago. He killed someone in a bar fight. Looks like not much has changed for him if it is true he was involved at a fight at a house party that caused all of this.

BINGO! We have a winner. That's a real part of the housing B.S. that has never hit the media, and it was really the bottom line agenda . If you failed to notice, about 4 years ago, the NINJAAs,(THAT'S NO-INCOME NO-JOB AFRO-AMERICANS )Were allowed to invade the middle class berbs and turn it into the ghetto they were used to living in. That's the real crime the media isn't taking about. Welfare people were moving into nice neighborshoods and they didn't even own cars and had zillions of brat thug kids ripping up the houses and everthing else.

The funny thing is everyone thats not from citrus heights or has been through once or twice calls it a white trash pit, when in reality it's not, it's a melting pot of all ethnicities, theirs not a black/brown side of town, yes their is parts where youll find more Hispanics and blacks but nothing where its straight 1 problem, iv lived on every side of this town pretty much, my grandparents live in a nice neighborhood here no problems at all, iv had a police persuit end hitting our tree, constant gunshots and police harrasment specially around the greenback area.. People think it's all whit trash but their is alot of people here that will leave you beat or dead.. I'm just keeping it real it's nothing to glorify but don't think just cuz it's not south sac shit don't happen, their is alot of people that have moved here from L.A., oak park, hell even Russia. Like I said it's a big melting pot and occasionally it boils over

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Libra

You have a tremendous amount of nervous energy today and you need to find positive ways of expressing it, otherwise it could make you rather irritable and restless. Ideally, you should do something physical, such as going for a brisk walk, cleaning the house while working up a sweat or getting your money's worth out of the gym. Don't take out your frustrations on people who don't deserve them.
