Why is it, that you run a negative story about motorcycles, but you rarely publicize the charitable work motorcycle riders in this city do? This is in need of balance. There is about one charity motorcycle event per month from February through November. You couldn't drag the media to those events - but get a sniff of something on the other side of motorcycling and you buzzards are sniffing for a feeding frenzy. Shame on all of you!

Never in this article did I see anything about and search warrants or any arrests or even any contact with the residents. Jacksonville/America this "is" the patriot act in action. Most people don't know about or to what length this act signed by Pres. Bush gives the federal/state/local authorities. They can basically consider ANY unlawful act at terrorism and not only arrest you, but can tap your phone with out a judges permission, can search your home/business without you being there and without a search warrant...and take things. All under the patriot act. I read something about an indictment, duh usually people are listed on an indictment from a grand jury. Where are the people? BTW, have you heard about the $280 penalty for using a hand held cell phone while driving? Another tid bit for your day...the FBI terrorist handbook lists homeschoolers and christians as threats too. Luckily this event didn't turn out like Waco. God bless you all.

I read the Daytona paper also and there were NO ARREST. took wedding albums from the club house. Store owners near the Daytona club house say they are glad the Outlaws are there to protect the area. what is wrong with this world today? F B I comes in your home and biz. takes what they want and walk out! somebody is going to get shot one day. GOD BLESS THIS COUNTRY. because it is going to hell!

The feds had supposedly removed 70 guns, which were of the street. What will happen to these guns? Will they get sold to wholesalers and end up in the hands of teenagers?

Dear Mr. Grim Reaper:

These Outlaws are the real deal, not credit card yuppie bikers who drink merlot. The story is about the FBI and JSO craking down on these dangerous men.

One side note, the average citizen has nothing to fear from these guys, just don't piss one of them off by trying to rip them off on drug deal. Unlike the gangsta rapper crap you hear about doing all the drive by shootings. If you wrong one of these Outlaws, they are not going to drive by and shoot at your house and mistakenly kill some little girl, they are going to get right in your face and blow your brains out execution style.

Yeah, how come First Coast News does not show the pictures of the Outlaws, but it gleefully showed the pictures of the alleged johns busted in the prostitution sting? Is FCN afraid??????

Of all the supposed wickedness happening in our world, why is it that crimes of the most hienous are not covered? like those against hungry,homeless Americans displaced due to things like outsourcing our jobs, etc.?
Motorcycle groups have been around for decades,as has many other groups, why the intensity now? Why not the other GROUPS who truly have wrecked havoc and our country with their mission to destroy our very foundation? The government is spending money foolishly going after BIKERS when every minute of every day, real threats go unchallenged and unprosecuted like this mess with the MIDDLE EAST and other extremists groups... The Patriot act is simply the Governments EXCLUSIVE right(s) to inject their dominion over the civil rights of the average American and leave that civilian under the thumbs of the GOVERNMENT much like the countries where the peoples have no say or rights to live without fear of reprisals..
The end result of this mess, is complete submission or deaths of Americans Nationwide in order to tighten the CONTOL NET of the very POWERFUL who were elected in faith and belief that the people's voices and needs would be addressed... Unfortunately, time and resources are being wasted on things like the Biker's who are NOT a threat to Americans, yet, are being targeted for whatever can be used against them to satisfy the GOVERNMENTS need to "LOOK LIKE" it's fullfilling it's promises to those who put them where they are...WHY IS THIS?
I know that there are many things NOT LEGAL going on all over this country, and in that knowledge I must stress that the OFFICIALS in charge of laws and etc., who continue to usurp their power and dominion, who break their own laws and etc,are protected from prosecution unless they are a "danger to those who are higher up on the CONTROL NETWORK, as has been seen over the decades, the proverbial scape goat, fall guy, who takes the blunt of the down side in order for the others to continue what they are doing...
THIS IS AMERICA,NOT RUSSIA, NOT CHINA,NOT KOREA, why in the name of all we believe in do we CITIZINS allow this to continue to happen? I will tell you, in my humble opinion, it's because, people are now so afraid to excersize their CONSTITUTIONAL right of free speech because of the WHIPLASH from "BIG BROTHER" that many have come to the desision to keep quiet and put up with this B.S. and frankly I am disheatened by the fact that there is most likely no end in sight to this madness....
I understand people have to do their jobs, etc., but, why aren't the REAL AND DANGEROUS criminals behind bars, like the POWER DOGS, instead of JOHN Q. CITIZEN (bikers etc.) somehow,I think it's like this to keep the EYES of our people off of them by highlighting things like this.. Just my opinion mind you.....

i think first coast news was just reporting "news", whoa you all need to chill out. They were doing their job to search and seize,im sure there is info that has not been on the news because it could jeopardize the investigation.

Chillin' out is apparently what the majority IS doing, ergo,the voices of our peoples are rarely heard! I don't begrudge news people or organizations their right to report, but, in light of the "story", I think that news like this story, should not be HEADLINE news! There are far more important stories that beg to be brought to the attention of Americans, than what a Bike group may or may not be doing!
I also would like to point out that there are many Charitable and worthwhile contributions that have been made by the LOCAL Outlaw bikers, that transcends the negative publicity given to this recent story... I would encourage readers to take a good hard look back at some of the TOP Political families who got where they are through "illegal" manufacturing and sales of alcohol during Prohibiton, then there are those who partisiapted in "recreational drugs" and STILL were elected, what makes them any less newsworthy or better than say - some Bikers whose reputations mostly comes on the downside of people who REALLY DO NOT HAVE A FREAKIN CLUE about who or what the core of them are?
I think it's time for America to STOP chillin' out and get with the program,and finally have their voices heard without fear of repercussions from ANY SOURCES!

Are we getting a little paranoid? I doubt very seriously that the Outlaws are going to be charged with acts of terrorism and this will all boil down to drugs, that one item that seems to bind out nation together in indiscriminate disgust. I find it amazing that those at the root of the trouble will inevitably pay the price for their decisions and actions as well as those who under normal circumstances, on a one to one basis, would not consider behaving in an illegal or immoral way. It is not only those who acted in illegal ways who are going to pay for this, it is also those others who chose to join the Outlaws and who have not done anything wrong who will pay. However unfair it seems, the illegal actions of the few will continue to affect the many. That this will also affect other motorcycle clubs is unfair, but true. I will wait, with bated breath, to see if First Coast News will follow up on this story or even try to dispell the fog of suspicion they have lay across all motorcycle enthusiasts. I'll have to have one of my kids give me a swift kick when I start to turn blue.

The point here is why is there never anything good posted about the Outlaws MC they do charity work events and runs and who has heard anything about it, the only notice is word of mouth or a flyer seen at a bike (motorcycle) shop or local tavern. However, let something bad happen and they are all over the news.

I have seen and been to several events both hosted by the Outlaws or that the Outlaws participated in. No issues no fights any attitudes. Just normal Guys having a good time.

As for violence that can happen anywhere you can go to the grocery store and have a 40 year old Anglo Saxon man get mad because you beat him to line and get violent pull a knife and try to cut you.(True Story) Therefore, should I know fear all men over 40 at the grocery store, do not think so. What about the Mafia, a bunch of Italian Sicilian guys doing the same things that news reports allege the Outlaws have taken part in are you now going to hide from any one of Sicilian decent. I could go on and on with examples but like any group, there are always a few apples that are a little worse then the rest.

Did you know most of these Outlaws were in the armed forces, defended our country, and would again today if asked? Also in neighborhood’s where Outlaws members live there seems to be little or no crime such as theft vandalism and so fourth.

So, judge not what you know anything about.

Boy are you stupid or what? The dang police know these bums fer what they are a bunch of drug dealers and you are probably one of em. I don't know what's goin onin the world when people what to defend bums like these killers and drug dealers. So what they give to charity so does the Mafia and baggy pants bums and other crooks. First I never said anything about the USA it was the media, second of all this is a forum to place an opinion so threats are not necessary. Second, you do not know me so using derogatory statement about me are not warranted and come with out fact,

Fact, I do not use Drugs or Alcohol. Nor did I imply I did

Fact, Have you been around the outlaws or any other 1% MC do you know they kind of people who are? Doctors, Lawyers, Police, These are all facts, I have witnessed this on multiple occasions and I have seen more then one local police officer break bread with Outlaws members.

Fact, I work in the technology industry

Fact, I own several Vintage and Custom (By My Hand) Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

Fact, I have participated in events where Outlaws were present, they did not offer to sell, provide or distribute and illegal arms or narcotics to me at any time, nor have I seen in my presence any member of the Outlaws using weapons or illicit drugs or violence.

Fact, It is not for me to judge anyone that is why in the USA we have a legal System.

The point of my post, Why is it that we has a society do not find good news interesting we only want to hear about the bad in people. Thus, our media is forced to only report the worst in people. I would even be happy to read in the news that hank in Norfolk got a job promotion I don’t know you but it is better than hearing everyday about the bad in the world, perhaps a little less gloom and doom and a little more look what you can accomplish would make a difference.

these outlaws are the last of a dying breed, men who live by their own code and don't sit down and take any crap from so called authority figures. If I was on an airplane and some rag head muslim tried to pull a boxcutter on a flight attendant, I would rather have a couple outlaws nearby than some TSA trained Barney Fife wanna be.

Where can I apply to be an outlaw, my brother Kip and I would love to join. I have skills and I am good with the bow staff and Kip is training to be a cage fighter.

Maybe something less incriminating will halp them avoid these types of debacles... maybe they can be called the Carebears or something. If the name of your group is Outlaws it would be a reasonable assumption that you are not following the laws of the land. If they are following the laws then they are "Outlaw" wanna-bes. Take your pick but don't claim both.

The upstanding pillars of the community who just happened to be breaking the law, were arrested and charged with soliciting for sex from a prostitute. It is not unusual to put pictures of those arrested in the paper. Unless they have updated the story no one was arrested in the raid. I assure you had they been they would have been on the news and in the news paper.

Do you think felons started out as felons, or do you think they might have started out breaking a few of your harmless laws and when nothing happened to them for doing so, decided to move on up to bigger and better things? All laws need to be respected and police officers need to be able to do their jobs and enforce all laws with out the riddicule of the very people who will turn around and whine when a crime is commited against them.
