Then why was he driving? And if his license was taken because of his so called mental state, then thats ok to drive anyway? So he can drive with or w/o a license. Cause a wreck, kill someone, then fall back onto " He did not know what he was doing because he had a mental/physical condition.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO BOTH SETS OF PARENTS, WHO HAVE TO GO ON WITH AND WITHOUT THEIR SONS. I DO BELIVE THIS WAS A TRAGIC ACCIDENT AND IN FORGIVING THIS YOUNG MAN, YOU CAN AND WILL FIND COMFORT. WISHING FOR MORE SUFFERING WILL NEVER BRING ABOUT HEALING FOR THESE FAMILIES. AARON'S DEATH SHOULD NOT BE IN VAIN AND HE WILL FOREVER BE REMEMBERED IN HEARTS OF FAMILY, FRIENDS AND THE COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE STATE OF FLORIDA. BUT DO NOT ALLOW HATRED TO CAUSE US TO LOOSE SIGHT ON SUCH AWESOME LOVER OF LIFE. IT MAYBE EASIER SAID THAN DONE."BUT IT IS TIME TO FORGIVE AND CONTINUE TO LIVE" YOUR SON WOULD WANT YOU TOO. GOD BLESS YOU IS MY SINCERE PRAYER.

We have tried for over two years to "live" and I think considering what we have endured we are doing fairly well. We wish no harm to Maxwell or his family , just justice for our son and peace of mind that Maxwell can't have access to another car and kill someone else's child. An accident is something that is out of one's control. The day Maxwell got in that car he made a choice to break the law, therefore I do not consider this an accident.

but a month later he was hospitalized for a rare and often fatal form of multiple sclerosis.

That's not a disease, that's karma.

The man in orange county did a hit and run and left the scene. Went to a body shop and got his truck repaired. Gets caught then claims he has a mental problem. They gave him 2 years for that. Can you believe that. Wendall is sitting in prison with a sentence of 15 years for the same thing. Can someone tell me why? The paper made it seem like Wendall purposely ranned Aaron over when that wasn't the case. From my understanding the little boy came out on to the road as he was driving and thats when he hit him. they made it seem like Aaron was in the road and wendall sped up and just ranned him over. And that's not true. Wendall was wrong for leaving the scene. He was scared and didnt know what to do. And in his state of mind he wouldnt know what to do. If i was in the same situtation i probably would've left too because i was scared. we dont know what we would do in situtations like that so we cant say: oh i would've stayed and waited till the police get there. you are scared out of your mind and confused dont know which way to turn. All i want to say is Wendall is not a bad person or a monster the people are making him seem. Before his health problems came along he was the person to be around because he was lots of fun, he still is. I WANT TO SAY TO AARON'S FAMILY Wendall did not mean to hit Aaron and he didn't purposely run him over. It was an accident. From my family we are so sorry for everything that you went through. We are very nice people to know. i wish we could have met on better circumstances. Maybe one day your family and our family could sit down and talk. Maybe we could help each other to heal.
