Judged: 2 1 1 Their prices are absolutely outrageous. They don't really provide anything unique. Like others have stated here, they are rude. When people say "oh my, you are going to Pumpkin Show? You have to get some pumpkin donuts from Lindseys" I cringe, because honestly they are no different than Pumpkin donuts from Kroger, except of course the price tag. In fact, I'd say the best bakery in town, at least as far as one that actually has a store, is Kroger. Carnival has one, but it always smells weird in that area. Maybe other people do work out of their home, but I don't know names. There used to be a Custom Cakes out on Stoutsville Pike, but I don't have a clue if that's around still. Sorry to sound so down on Lindsey's, but I'm just stating what I and many others I've talked to have experienced. The bakery really just seems to get by and stay open based off of history and that one big week a year in sales. |

I think that's nasty. If you go on break or walk out back for anything like going to the BMV to use the bathroom they shouldn't wear there aprons. They should only wear there aprons inside when they're working. I don't care much for there stuff either does my kids. So we don't go there much. |

Judged: 3 1 1 Flies buzzing around the donut cases and people taking smoke breaks while wearing there aprons - these are honest facts, not opinions. I have never had anyone act rude towards me there, but it wouldn't be too difficult to ascertain whether or not someone was acting rude. Oh, and by the way, my real name is .......... |

Judged: 1 1 Simple thumbprint cookies, while good, should not nearly be as expensive as they are there. A small town local business should be friendlier. Wittich's, for example, seems to have a much friendlier staff in my opinion. They also provide a lot more quality as well. Lindsey's only seems to really try once a year. Go do a blind taste test right now with Kroger and Lindsey's pumpkin donuts on the corner of Court and Main if you want to hear what people think. On a related note, I always tell anyone that the best Pumpkin donuts in my opinion are those hot mini ones at the smaller stand. The lines get longer and longer each year, so word is definitely spreading. They are much easier to eat while walking too. |

well I'm sure a lot of ppl has their opinions on what they like. Me even withbeening blind folded I still think she has the best pumpkin doughnuts they are a lot fresher then Krogers and btw not just sticking up for her but I have been into krogers and seen flys around their doughnuts in their case too and even said something to the bakery and they offered some money off on my doughnuts but I wouldn't buy them still yuck. And her cakes are fresher too but if I don't buy anything off from Katie I go to wally world cause they are a lot better then krogers and carnival when it comes to a bakery. And I do have to agree that lil booth at the pumpkinshow does beat them all when it comes to doughnuts. And check it out most of our restaurants here in town are going up in prices and giving less.

Lindsey's is very gross. I have witnessed people in the back, taking a break w/ the aprons and smoking. They won't even SPEAK when you say hello. I will never enter that rude establishment again. And I am a proprieter of an establishment uptown. My customer's have never had a comlplaint.( Not an eatery). And if I ever did hear of any, I would immediatley correct them and reprimand the employee.

I knoe the people who works in the back at nite and I can say at least one them do not smoke. Katie's boys has been nothing but friendly to me no matter what time I go in to get my donuts. Lindsey donuts is the only ones I'll eat. And as far as what politician comes into town I really don't care. It don't change my opinion of where I would go for my donuts. As for pumpkin donuts don't like pumpkin. Obama for president

I have heard that Lindseys is dirty but have not witnessed it myself. I support locale businesses and was just surprised at the rudeness and the unwillingness to help. She didn't even offer an alternative idea. It was like she did not care about me as a customer and when a business starts doing that it's all downhill from there.

Vangundy- usually my daughter makes our cakes but since it was her bday I wanted to get her something special. I myself can bake but am not creative to be able to decorate it that is why I went to a bakery.
