i read some of the comments that were made about the drownings this weekend and i understand that people need to be aware of the rip currents but when my friend went into the water there were no flags out and no lifeguards on duty. he sacaficed his life to save his 14yr old granddaughter and she and her family watched him dissappear. my family didnt know the rules of the beach and when no flags were up they assumed everything was ok. flags can be replaced people cant so before people make comments about stupid tourst remember everyone is a tourist at some time or another.
and if you ever decide to tour louisiana remember alagators are not to be hand fed.
