Ohio should amend there smoking law just like pa. did bar's and clubs
that you must be 21 to enter and that serves less then 10% food
for there sales. should be able to post a sign that say's THIS IS A SMOKING EST. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. and the same for
none smoking places. We own the build where we do business
and now the gov. can tell you when and how to do business.

Why? So the 28% that smoke can chase away the 72% that do not poison the air?

Every time someone get 86ed from a bar, they call the snitchline. Some the bars in my area that actually comply have been "reported" (antis love that word) while many others ignoring the ban are still doing so peacefully after nearly two years.

I certainly hope they require everyone ride bicycles to the casinos. I'd much rather be exposed to cigarette smoke than to the toxic filth that motor vehicles spew out. Would you rather be in a locked room with a running car, or with a cigarette?

And yet rudeness and insulting a complete stranger is fine. I'd much rather stand next to a smoker than ingest your shite.

I think a better solution is for you and your kind to stop asking government to declare you to stupid to think for yourself at the owners door. If you don't like what the owner offers, by all means don't enter and rest assured the owner will not force you inside. I bet you pee your pants when you see your shadow

Gotta agree with you there. All the sheep bleating about how bad second hand smoke is (something that has already been proven by the W.H.O to be HIGHLY exaggerated), yet are silent when it comes to emissions controls on motor vehicles, because <gasp!> it might actually affect THEM adversely for a change. Bunch of whiny little hypocrites, had to break the law just to get their crap on the ballot. bu..bu.. but, everyone voted.... Fine, then they should have no problem getting it on the ballot again, only this time try not to BREAK THE #^@#$ LAW when you do it.

Cancer from second hand smoke isn't really a concern for me. It's the stench I can't stand. Even when they aren't burning one smokers still stink. The odor is on their clothes and breath, in their hair and skin. Opting to reek seems a stupid choice. Why would someone choose to smell like that?

Maybe the choice was made a long time ago? Most of us make some bad choices along the way. Have a bit of sympathy...

You sound like some of the losers who complain to HR when I tell them they stink. Can't stand to hear the truth so they run and tattle. Problem is I am right and they are wrong. They do stink. HR agrees because HR is full of non-smokers. I don't hold elevator doors for people I know smoke and I don't cover phones for people out having a cancer stick on company time. Smokers stink!

how about sympathy for those who have to put up with nasty smelling funky people? cigarette smoke embedded in clothes is as bad as B.O... a lot of people made bad choices "along the way" but they don't continue making those bad choices 20 to 40 times a day.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Virgo

Someone is being headstrong and wilful, and absolutely determined to do what they want. Mercury is retrograde and it's a Full Moon in Cancer with a lunar eclipse all happening tonight! This could lead to some heated discussions and possibly even rows, as you argue the toss back and forth. It might be best to accept that there's very little possibility of reaching an agreement rather than to get locked in a stubborn battle of wills. Besides, you don't want anything to spoil what promises to be a very enjoyable New Year's Eve. Have fun!
