21-year-old found dead in Universal City

I am Blase Wright's mother. Blase was shot and killed in his apartment in the middle of the afternoon on Feb 2nd of this year. The police released a sketch of a woman that was sitting in a car outside of the apartment believed to know more details about this murder. Blase had a so-called friend (DJ) staying with him, he conveniently stays out of town (Bandera). Why isn't anybody coming forward? Blase knew alot of people and was well liked by many. But yet, nobody comes forward and says anything. I know there are a few of those kids that really knows what happened and I wish that they would find the courage to call the detectives in Universal City or they can email me on the myspace. The people that are responsible for this will be caught, it's just a matter of time. So, whether you're involved or you just know something, come forward, be Blase's hero and say something.

They know where DJ is...He has also been arrested for burglary... he was bailed and I think we're waiting to see if gets indicted for it. It justs really frustrates me that my son gave this guy a place to live when he had no other place, my son fed him and drove him around as well. This guy calls himself Blase's friend but yet does nothing to help. He tries to convince us that he knows nothing. I don't believe it! We have caught him in too many lies. He was the last one to talk to Blase and the first to find him. I know that he knows something. I just don't know how to persuade to talk.

Blase was my only son and I love him so much! My heart aches for him! I can't even express into words how much I miss him! Who ever is lying about knowing anything, whoever is involved...there will be no mercy! So, if someone knows something, you are better off coming forward and clearing your conscience. This is the only way for any mercy on you.

The news media reports that the war is in Iraq but I say it is right here in our own backyard.
The law enforcment needs our help to report to them what we see and hear of the ones that want to do harm and take of other people. My grandson was murdered in his apartment by a evil person. I firmly believe someone, especially the one that BJ(Blase Wright Jr.)befriended knows something. Yes, it takes inner strengh to step up and speak. The killer will be bought to justice! The police will get this person or persons involed. The person that did this is a coward that does not respect life and needs to be taken off the streets before they do this again.

BJ's murder case is still on going and his family and friends miss him so much. The law will get this person or persons that murdered BJ. Everynight in the news I hear about another child or someone elses loved one being murdered. None of it makes any sense. What makes these people think they have the right to murder someone?

Today is February 12, 2008, a little over a year since BJ was shot in his apartment. Since then, the guy that stayed with him, David Joshua Doutrich (DJ), has retreated in Bandera and now is going to school in Alpine, TX. We all know that DJ knows the truth about what transpired that day and leading up to that day. We all believe that DJ is scared, probably for his life, to tell us the truth. DJ, announces on his myspace page that my son, Blase(BJ), is a man amongst boys. He claims to be his good friend. My son gave him a place to live when he had nowhere to go....but now...what does do? NOTHING! If his silence continues, I will make sure that a charge for witholding evidence from this case will be against him and he will fight not only the burglary charges but that one, as well! My patience is running out!

what does it take to get someone that has information to tell what they know? the person that killed BJ continues to live his life. this person will be caught. it is a matter of when. all of you out there, that refuse to tell the police what you are no better than the one that pulled the trigger. you say your BJ'S friend, that is not a friend. i hope your parents don't have to go through this or anyother member of your family. i would not wish this on anyone. CRIME STOPPERS STILL OFFERING $5OOO.OO REWARD FOR INFORMATION. BJ did not deserve this done. the person that did this is a coward and everyone connected to this person is no better. a person that kills in coldblood has no feelings and they don't care about anybody. these kind of people go around living a lie. why would you want to be around someone like? why would you want to protect them. believe me they would not protect you and would turn on you in a flash. think about it!!!!
