Never so late to require exceeding the speed limit by 46 mph. Nothing, short of a death wish, justifies that.

I'd wager to bet you drive a station wagon. You gotta learn to live a little.
And you would lose that wager. Actually I prefer to live a lot. It's maniacs behind the wheel that usually live a little. Very little.

reminds me of a family in Shippensburg who, on a dead end road in a rural setting (speed limit 30) are almost always hitting speeds of 50-60 up past my house, passing stopped school buses etc....
only a matter of time before someone either gets killed or they wreck.

Ever consider laying a spike strip across the road?

I know what you mean. Posted speed limit on our street in the development where we live is 25 mph. I've seen people go by the house doing at least 40. At one end of the street, there is a turn and I always see brake lights coming on. Anytime you have to brake to take a turn, you're going faster than the posted speed.

We had a big to-do with a group of "Trapper Keeper Kids" (as I know now call them since reading this thread) who hang out up the alley way from us in the one kid's garage. They were tweaking some new TKC (trapper keeper car), and driving past our house WAYYY too fast (in a neighborhood with lots of kids and pets), and revving the engine at the stop sign in front of our place. We were enjoying some company on our porch, and I yelled at them to slow down, but couldn't even hear myself. They came back around, I did the same thing, and I was given an inappropriate gesture and a "f**** you" by the passenger. We called, the cops and gave the plate number. They lied to the cops, said we walked down to the garage and got the plate number and that the car was undriveable. We wound up having to testify in court against them and they STILL lied about even DRIVING the car, and tried to make it look like we made the whole thing up while at the same time blaming some other kid who arrived on the scene while it was happening for driving the car. Lots of character education at home for these dudes, evidently. Judge didn't like all of that very much...they don't drive by very often anymore.

You should take up law enforcement and stop worring about what everyone else does

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
